6 And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spake comfortably to them, saying,6 And he put war chiefs over the people, and sent for them all to come together to him in the wide place at the doorway into the town, and to give them heart he said to them,6 군대 장관들을 세워 백성을 거느리게 하고 성문 광장 자기에게로 무리를 모으고 말로 위로하여 가로되
7 Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:7 Be strong and take heart; have no fear, and do not be troubled on account of the king of Assyria and all the great army with him: for there is a greater with us.7 너희는 마음을 강하게하며 담대히 하고 앗수르 왕과 그 좇는 온 무리로 인하여 두려워 말며 놀라지 말라 우리와 함께하는 자가 저와 함께하는 자보다 크니
8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.8 With him is an arm of flesh; but we have the Lord our God, helping us and fighting for us. And the people put their faith in what Hezekiah, king of Judah, said.8 저와 함께하는 자는 육신의 팔이요 우리와 함께하는 자는 우리의 하나님 여호와시라 반드시 우리를 도우시고 우리를 대신하여 싸우시리라 하매 백성이 유다 왕 히스기야의 말로 인하여 안심하니라
