2 And it came to pass in an eveningtideㆍ, that Davidarose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king'shouse: and from the roof he saw a womanwashing herself; and the womanwasverybeautiful to look upon.
2 Now one evening, David got up from his bed, and while he was walking on the roof of the king's house, he saw from there a woman bathing; and the woman was very beautiful.

3 And Davidsent and inquired after the woman. And onesaid, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

4 And Davidsentmessengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.
4 And David sent and took her; and she came to him, and he took her to his bed: (for she had been made clean;) then she went back to her house.
4 다윗이 사자를 보내어 저를 자기에게로 데려 오게 하고 저가 그 부정함을 깨끗케 하였으므로 더불어 동침하매 저가 자기 집으로 돌아가니라
