15 Now when the turn of Esther, the daughter of Abihail the uncle of Mordecai, who had taken her for his daughter, was come to go in unto the king, she requirednothing but what Hegai the king'schamberlain, the keeper of the women, appointed. And Estherobtainedfavour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.
15 Now when the time came for Esther, the daughter of Abihail, his father's brother, whom Mordecai had taken as his daughter, to go in to the king, she made request for nothing but what Hegai, the king's servant and keeper of the women, had given her. And Esther was looked on kindly by all who saw her.
15 모르드개의 삼촌 아비하일의 딸 곧 모르드개가 자기의 딸 같이 양육하는 에스더가 차례대로 왕에게 나아갈 때에 궁녀를 주관하는 내시 헤개의 정한 것 외에는 다른것을 구하지 아니하였으나 모든 보는 자에게 굄을 얻더라

17 And Esther was more pleasing to the king than all the women, and to his eyes she was fairer and more full of grace than all the other virgins: so he put his crown on her head and made her queen in place of Vashti.
17 왕이 모든 여자보다 에스더를 더욱 사랑하므로 저가 모든 처녀보다 왕의 앞에 더욱 은총을 얻은지라 왕이 그 머리에 면류관을 씌우고 와스디를 대신하여 왕후를 삼은 후에
