2 And it was so, when the kingsawEsther the queenstanding in the court, that she obtainedfavour in his sight: and the king held out to Esther the goldensceptre that was in his hand. So Esther drew near, and touched the top of the sceptre.
2 And when the king saw Esther the queen waiting in the inner room, looking kindly on her he put out the rod of gold in his hand to her. So Esther came near and put her fingers on the top of the rod.
