36 Or if it be known that the ox hath used to push in time pastㆍ, and his owner hath not kept him in; he shall surelypayox for ox; and the dead shall be his own.
36 But if it is common knowledge that the ox has frequently done such damage in the past, and its owner has not kept it under control, he will have to give ox for ox; and the dead beast will be his.
36 그 소가 본래 받는 버릇이 있는 줄을 알고도 그 임자가 단속하지 아니하였으면 그는 소로 소를 갚을 것이요 죽은 것은 그의 차지가 될찌니라
