1Forevery high priesttaken from amongmen is ordainedformen in things pertainingtoGod, that he may offerbothgiftsandsacrificesforsins:
1 Every high priest who is taken from among men is given his position to take care of the interests of men in those things which have to do with God, so that he may make offerings for sins.
1 대제사장마다 사람 가운데서 취한 자이므로 하나님께 속한 일에 사람을 위하여 예물과 속죄하는 제사를 드리게 하나니

2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that hehimselfalso is compassed with infirmity.
2 He is able to have feeling for those who have no knowledge and for those who are wandering from the true way, because he himself is feeble;
3And by reasonhereof he ought, asfor the people, soalsoforhimself, to offerforsins.
3 And being feeble, he has to make sin-offerings for himself as well as for the people.
3 이러므로 백성을 위하여 속죄제를 드림과 같이 또한 자기를 위하여 드리는 것이 마땅하니라
