12 For our transgressions are multiplied before thee, and our sinstestify against us: for our transgressionsare with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;

13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing awayfrom our God, speakingoppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heartwords of falsehood.
13 We have gone against the Lord, and been false to him, turning away from our God, our words have been uncontrolled, and in our hearts are thoughts of deceit.

14 And judgment is turned awaybackward, and justicestandeth afar off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equitycannotenter.
14 And the right is turned back, and righteousness is far away: for good faith is not to be seen in the public places, and upright behaviour may not come into the town.
