6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let downJeremiah with cords. And in the dungeonthere was no water, but mire: so Jeremiahsunk in the mire.
6 So they took Jeremiah and put him into the water-hole of Malchiah, the king's son, in the place of the armed watchmen: and they let Jeremiah down with cords. And in the hole there was no water, but wet earth: and Jeremiah went down into the wet earth.
6 그들이 예레미야를 취하여 시위대 뜰에 있는 왕의 아들 말기야의 구덩이에 던져 넣을 때에 예레미야를 줄로 달아내리웠는데 그 구덩이에는 물이 없고 진흙 뿐이므로 예레미야가 진흙 중에 빠졌더라
