1 And the men of Ephraimsaid unto him, Why hast thouserved us thus, that thou calledst us not, when thou wentest to fight with the Midianites? And they did chide with him sharply.

2 And he said unto them, What have I done now in comparison of you? Is not the gleaning of the grapes of Ephraimbetter than the vintage of Abiezer?
2 And he said to them, What have I done in comparison with you? Is not that which Ephraim took up after the grape-cutting better than all the grapes which Abiezer got in from the grape-cutting?
2 기드온이 그들에게 이르되 나의 이제 행한 일이 너희의 한 것에 비교되겠느냐 에브라임의 끝물 포도가 아비에셀의 맏물 포도보다 낫지 아니하냐

3God hath delivered into your hands the princes of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb: and what was I able to do in comparison of you? Then their anger was abated toward him, when he had saidthat.
3 God has given into your hands the chiefs of Midian, Oreb and Zeeb; what have I been able to do in comparison with you? And when he said this, their feeling about him became kinder.
3 하나님이 미디안 방백 오렙과 스엡을 너희 손에 붙이셨으니 나의 한 일이 어찌 능히 너희의 한 것에 비교되겠느냐 기드온이 이 말을 하매 그들의 노가 풀리니라
