정탐꾼들의 보고에 백성이 원망하다. (1-4) 여호수아와 갈렙이 백성을 진정시키려 애쓰다. (5-10) 하나님의 경고, 모세의 중보. (11-19) 원망하는 자들이 약속의 땅에 들어가는 것이 금지되다. (20-35) 악한 정탐꾼들의 죽음. (36-39) 이제 그 땅을 침공하려는 백성의 패배. (40-45)
36 And the men, which Mosessent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,
