KJV BBE
A Psalm of David, Maschil.] Blessed [is he whose] transgression [is] forgiven, [whose] sin [is] covered.1
Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.2 Happy is the man in whom the Lord sees no evil, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.
When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.3 When I kept my mouth shut, my bones were wasted, because of my crying all through the day.
For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.4 For the weight of your hand was on me day and night; my body became dry like the earth in summer. (Selah.)
I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. Selah.5 I made my wrongdoing clear to you, and did not keep back my sin. I said, I will put it all before the Lord; and you took away my wrongdoing and my sin. (Selah.)
For this shall every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.6 For this cause let every saint make his prayer to you at a time when you are near: then the overflowing of the great waters will not overtake him.
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.7 You are my safe and secret place; you will keep me from trouble; you will put songs of salvation on the lips of those who are round me. (Selah.)
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.8 I will give you knowledge, teaching you the way to go; my eye will be your guide.
Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto thee.9 Do not be like the horse or the ass, without sense; ...
Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.10 The sinner will be full of trouble; but mercy will be round the man who has faith in the Lord.
Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.11 Be glad in the Lord with joy, you upright men; give cries of joy, all you whose hearts are true.
