I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only-begotten Son, our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into Hades; the third day He rose from the dead; He ascended into Heaven, and sitteth at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from, thence he shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy Catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

저는 전능하신 아버지 하나님, 천지의 창조주를 믿습니다. 또한 그분의 독생자이시며 우리 주이신 예수 그리스도를 믿습니다. 그분은 성령으로 잉태되어 동정녀 마리아에게서 나셨고, 본디오 빌라도 아래에서 고난받으시고 십자가에 못 박혀 죽으시고 장사되셨으며, 음부에 내려가셨습니다. 사흘째 되는 날 죽은 자들 가운데서 다시 살아나셨고, 하늘에 오르셔서 전능하신 성부 하나님의 오른편에 앉아 계시며, 거기로부터 살아 있는 자들과 죽은 자들을 심판하러 오실 것입니다. 저는 성령을 믿으며, 거룩한 보편적 교회와 성도의 교제와 죄 사함과 몸의 부활과 영원한 생명을 믿습니다.
