문답 73 말씀이 구원에 효력이 있으려면 어떻게 읽고 들어야 합니까?

How is the Word to be read and heard that it may become effectual to salvation?

That the Word may become effectual to salvation, we must attend to it with diligence¹ , preparation² , and prayer³ , receive it with faith⁴ , and love⁵ , lay it up into our hearts⁶ , and practise it in our lives.⁷

말씀이 구원에 효력이 있으려면 부지런함과¹ 준비와² 기도로 말씀에 주의를 기울여야 하며,³ 믿음과⁴ 사랑으로 말씀을 받아들여야 합니다.⁵ 또한 말씀을 마음에 간직하고,⁶ 삶에서 실천해야 합니다.⁷

34 Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors.

34 누구든지 내게 들으며 날마다 내 문 곁에서 기다리며 문설주 옆에서 기다리는 자는 복이 있나니

베드로전서 2:1-2

1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

히브리서 4:2

2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

2 저희와 같이 우리도 복음 전함을 받은 자이나 그러나 그 들은바 말씀이 저희에게 유익되지 못한 것은 듣는 자가 믿음을 화합지 아니함이라

데살로니가후서 2:10

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

10 불의의 모든 속임으로 멸망하는 자들에게 임하리니 이는 저희가 진리의 사랑을 받지 아니하여 구원함을 얻지 못함이니라

시편 119:11

11 Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.

11 내가 주께 범죄치 아니하려 하여 주의 말씀을 내 마음에 두었나이다

야고보서 1:25

25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

25 자유하게 하는 온전한 율법을 들여다보고 있는 자는 듣고 잊어버리는 자가 아니요 실행하는 자니 이 사람이 그 행하는 일에 복을 받으리라
