문답 81 성찬에 합당하게 참여하려면 무엇이 요구됩니까?

What is required to the worthy receiving of the Lord's Supper?

It is required of them who would worthily partake of the Lord's Supper, that they examine themselves of their knowledge to discern the Lord's body¹ , of their faith to feed upon him² , of their repentance³ , love⁴ , and new obedience,⁵ lest coming unworthily, they eat and drink judgment to themselves.⁶

성찬에 합당하게 참여하려는 사람들은 주의 몸을 분별할 지식이 있는지,¹ 그리스도를 영혼의 양식으로 삼을 믿음이 있는지,² 회개와³ 사랑과⁴ 새로운 순종이 있는지 자신을 살펴야 합니다.⁵ 합당하지 않게 나아와 자신에게 임할 심판을 먹고 마시는 일이 없어야 하기 때문입니다.⁶

고린도전서 11:28-29

28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup.

28 사람이 자기를 살피고 그 후에야 이 떡을 먹고 이 잔을 마실찌니

29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.

29 주의 몸을 분변치 못하고 먹고 마시는 자는 자기의 죄를 먹고 마시는 것이니라

고린도후서 13:5

5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

5 너희가 믿음에 있는가 너희 자신을 시험하고 너희 자신을 확증하라 예수 그리스도께서 너희 안에 계신 줄을 너희가 스스로 알지 못하느냐 그렇지 않으면 너희가 버리운 자니라

고린도전서 11:31

31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

고린도전서 11:18-20

18 For first of all, when ye come together in the church, I hear that there be divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

18 첫째는 너희가 교회에 모일 때에 너희 중에 분쟁이 있다 함을 듣고 대강 믿노니

19 For there must be also heresies among you, that they which are approved may be made manifest among you.

19 너희 중에 편당이 있어야 너희 중에 옳다 인정함을 받은 자들이 나타나게 되리라

20 When ye come together therefore into one place, this is not to eat the Lord's supper.

20 그런즉 너희가 함께 모여서 주의 만찬을 먹을 수 없으니

고린도전서 5:8

8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

8 이러므로 우리가 명절을 지키되 묵은 누룩도 말고 괴악하고 악독한 누룩도 말고 오직 순전함과 진실함의 누룩 없는 떡으로 하자

고린도전서 11:27-29

27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

27 그러므로 누구든지 주의 떡이나 잔을 합당치 않게 먹고 마시는 자는 주의 몸과 피를 범하는 죄가 있느니라
