아가서 5:10-16
10 My beloved is white and ruddy, the chiefest among ten thousand.
10 나의 사랑하는 자는 희고도 붉어 만 사람에 뛰어난다
11 His head is as the most fine gold, his locks are bushy, and black as a raven.
11 머리는 정금 같고 머리털은 고불고불하고 까마귀같이 검구나
12 His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set.
12 눈은 시냇가의 비둘기 같은데 젖으로 씻은듯하고 아름답게도 박혔구나
13 His cheeks are as a bed of spices, as sweet flowers: his lips like lilies, dropping sweet smelling myrrh.
13 뺨은 향기로운 꽃밭 같고 향기로운 풀언덕과도 같고 입술은 백합화 같고 몰약의 즙이 뚝뚝 떨어진다
14 His hands are as gold rings set with the beryl: his belly is as bright ivory overlaid with sapphires.
14 손은 황옥을 물린 황금 노리개 같고 몸은 아로새긴 상아에 청옥을 입힌듯하구나
15 His legs are as pillars of marble, set upon sockets of fine gold: his countenance is as Lebanon, excellent as the cedars.
15 다리는 정금 받침에 세운 화반석 기둥 같고 형상은 레바논 같고 백향목처럼 보기 좋고
16 His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend, O daughters of Jerusalem.
16 입은 심히 다니 그 전체가 사랑스럽구나 예루살렘 여자들아 이는 나의 사랑하는 자요 나의 친구일다
마태복음 13:44-46
44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.
44 천국은 마치 밭에 감추인 보화와 같으니 사람이 이를 발견한 후 숨겨 두고 기뻐하여 돌아가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 밭을 샀느니라
45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
45 또 천국은 마치 좋은 진주를 구하는 장사와 같으니
46 Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
46 극히 값진 진주 하나를 만나매 가서 자기의 소유를 다 팔아 그 진주를 샀느니라
