6 And Rachel said, God hath judged me, and hath also heard my voice, and hath given me a son: therefore called she his name Dan.

6 라헬이 가로되 하나님이 내 억울함을 푸시려고 내 소리를 들으사 내게 아들을 주셨다 하고 이로 인하여 그 이름을 단이라 하였으며

16 Dan shall judge his people, as one of the tribes of Israel.

16 단은 이스라엘의 한 지파 같이 그 백성을 심판하리로다

17 Dan shall be a serpent by the way, an adder in the path, that biteth the horse heels, so that his rider shall fall backward.

17 단은 길의 뱀이요 첩경의 독사리로다 말굽을 물어서 그 탄 자로 뒤로 떨어지게 하리로다

22 And of Dan he said, Dan is a lion's whelp: he shall leap from Bashan.

22 단에 대하여는 일렀으되 단은 바산에서 뛰어나오는 사자의 새끼로다

12 Of Dan; Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

12 단에게서는 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이요

12 Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli.

12 단 지파에서는 그말리의 아들 암미엘이요

22 And the prince of the tribe of the children of Dan, Bukki the son of Jogli.

22 단 자손 지파의 족장 요글리의 아들 북기요

38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

38 단의 아들들에게서 난 자를 그들의 가족과 종족을 따라 이십세 이상으로 싸움에 나갈만한 자를 그 명수대로 다 계수하니

39 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.

39 단 지파의 계수함을 입은 자가 육만 이천 칠백명이었더라

31 All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.

31 단의 진에 속한 계수함을 입은 군대의 총계가 십오만 칠천 육백명이라 그들은 기를 따라 후대로 진행할찌니라 하시니라

25 And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

25 다음으로 단 자손 진 기에 속한 자들이 그 군대대로 진행하였으니 이 군대는 모든 진의 후진이었더라 단 군대는 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이 영솔하였고

25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

25 북편에는 단 군대의 진 기가 있을 것이라 단 자손의 족장은 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이요

66 On the tenth day Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai, prince of the children of Dan, offered:

66 제 십일에는 단 자손의 족장 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이 드렸으니

67 His offering was one silver charger, the weight whereof was an hundred and thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

67 그 예물도 성소의 세겔대로 일백 삼십 세겔중 은반 하나와 칠십 세겔중 은바리 하나라 이 두 그릇에는 소제물로 기름 섞은 고운 가루를 채웠고

68 One golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense:

68 또 십 세겔중 금숟가락 하나라 이것에는 향을 채웠고

69 One young bullock, one ram, one lamb of the first year, for a burnt offering:

69 또 번제물로 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나와 일년 된 어린 수양 하나이며

70 One kid of the goats for a sin offering:

70 속죄제물로 수염소 하나이며

71 And for a sacrifice of peace offerings, two oxen, five rams, five he goats, five lambs of the first year: this was the offering of Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

71 화목제물로 소 둘과 수양 다섯과 수염소 다섯과 일년 된 어린 수양 다섯이라 이는 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀의 예물이었더라

42 These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.

42 단 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니라 수함에게서 수함 가족이 났으니 이는 그들의 종족을 따른 단 가족들이라

43 All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those that were numbered of them, were threescore and four thousand and four hundred.

43 수함 모든 가족의 계수함을 입은 자가 육만 사천 사백명이었더라

13 And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

13 르우벤과 갓과 아셀과 스불론과 단과 납달리는 저주하기 위하여 에발산에 서고

40 And the seventh lot came out for the tribe of the children of Dan according to their families.

40 일곱째로 단 자손의 지파를 위하여 그 가족대로 제비를 뽑았으니

41 And the coast of their inheritance was Zorah, and Eshtaol, and Irshemesh,

41 그 기업의 지경은 소라와 에스다올과 이르세메스와

42 And Shaalabbin, and Ajalon, and Jethlah,

42 사알랍빈과 아얄론과 이들라와

43 And Elon, and Thimnathah, and Ekron,

43 엘론과 딤나와 에그론과

44 And Eltekeh, and Gibbethon, and Baalath,

44 엘드게와 깁브돈과 바알랏과

45 And Jehud, and Beneberak, and Gathrimmon,

45 여훗과 브네브락과 가드 림몬과

46 And Mejarkon, and Rakkon, with the border before Japho.

46 메얄곤과 락곤과 욥바 맞은편 경계까지라

17 Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.

17 길르앗은 요단 저편에 거하거늘 단은 배에 머무름은 어찜이뇨 아셀은 해빈에 앉고 자기 시냇가에 거하도다

19 Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

19 워단과 야완은 길쌈하는 실로 네 물품을 무역하였음이여 백철과 육계와 창포가 네 상품 중에 있었도다

34 And the Amorites forced the children of Dan into the mountain: for they would not suffer them to come down to the valley:

34 아모리 사람이 단 자손을 산지로 쫓아들이고 골짜기에 내려오기를 용납지 아니하고

1 In those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.

1 그 때에 이스라엘에 왕이 없었고 단 지파는 이 때에 거할 기업의 땅을 구하는 중이었으니 이는 그들이 이스라엘 지파 중에서 이 때까지 기업의 땅 분배함을 얻지 못하였음이라

2 And the children of Dan sent of their family five men from their coasts, men of valour, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them, Go, search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah, they lodged there.

2 단 자손이 소라와 에스다올에서부터 자기 온 가족중 용맹 있는 다섯 사람을 보내어 땅을 탐지하고 살피게 하며 그들에게 이르되 너희는 가서 땅을 살펴보라 하매 그들이 에브라임 산지에 가서 미가의 집에 이르러 거기서 유숙하니라

47 And the coast of the children of Dan went out too little for them: therefore the children of Dan went up to fight against Leshem, and took it, and smote it with the edge of the sword, and possessed it, and dwelt therein, and called Leshem, Dan, after the name of Dan their father.

47 그런데 단 자손의 지경이 더욱 확장되었으니 이는 단 자손이 올라가서 레센을 쳐서 취하여 칼날로 치고 그것을 얻어 거기 거하였음이라 그 조상 단의 이름을 따라서 레센을 단이라 하였더라

8 And they came unto their brethren to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their brethren said unto them, What say ye?

8 그들이 소라와 에스다올에 돌아와서 그 형제에게 이르매 형제들이 그들에게 묻되 너희 보기에 어떠하더뇨

9 And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are ye still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.

9 가로되 일어나서 그들을 치러 올라가자 우리가 그 땅을 본즉 매우 좋더라 너희는 가만히 있느냐 나아가서 그 땅 얻기를 게을리 말라

10 When ye go, ye shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God hath given it into your hands; a place where there is no want of any thing that is in the earth.

10 너희가 가면 평안한 백성을 만날 것이요 그 땅은 넓고 그곳에는 세상에 있는 것이 하나도 부족함이 없느니라 하나님이 너희 손에 붙이셨느니라

11 And there went from thence of the family of the Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.

11 단 지파 가족 중 육백명이 병기를 띠고 소라와 에스다올에서 출발하여

12 And they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: wherefore they called that place Mahanehdan unto this day: behold, it is behind Kirjathjearim.

12 올라가서 유다 기럇여아림에 진치니 이러므로 그곳 이름이 오늘까지 마하네단이며 그곳은 기럇여아림 뒤에 있더라

13 And they passed thence unto mount Ephraim, and came unto the house of Micah.

13 무리가 거기서 떠나서 에브라임 산지 미가의 집에 이르니라

27 And they took the things which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people that were at quiet and secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.

27 단 자손이 미가의 지은 것과 그 제사장을 취하고 라이스에 이르러 한가하고 평안한 백성을 만나 칼날로 그들을 치며 불로 그 성읍을 사르되

28 And there was no deliverer, because it was far from Zidon, and they had no business with any man; and it was in the valley that lieth by Bethrehob. And they built a city, and dwelt therein.

28 그들을 구원할 자가 없었으니 그 성읍이 베드르홉 가까운 골짜기에 있어서 시돈과 상거가 멀고 상종하는 사람도 없음이었더라 단 자손이 성읍을 중건하고 거기 거하며

29 And they called the name of the city Dan, after the name of Dan their father, who was born unto Israel: howbeit the name of the city was Laish at the first.

29 이스라엘의 소생 그 조상 단의 이름을 따라 그 성읍을 단이라 하니라 그 성읍의 본 이름은 라이스더라

17 And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war.

17 땅을 탐지하러 갔던 다섯 사람이 그리로 들어가서 새긴 신상과 에봇과 드라빔과 부어만든 신상을 취할 때에 제사장은 병기를 띤 육백명과 함께 문 입구에 섰더니

18 And these went into Micah's house, and fetched the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the priest unto them, What do ye?

18 그 다섯 사람이 미가의 집에 들어가서 그 새긴 신상과 에봇과 드라빔과 부어만든 신상을 취하여 내매 제사장이 그들에게 묻되 너희가 무엇을 하느냐

19 And they said unto him, Hold thy peace, lay thine hand upon thy mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for thee to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that thou be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?

19 그들이 그에게 이르되 잠잠하라 네 손을 입에 대라 우리와 함께 가서 우리의 아비와 제사장이 되라 네가 한 사람의 집의 제사장이 되는 것과 이스라엘 한 지파, 한 가족의 제사장이 되는 것이 어느 것이 낫겠느냐

20 And the priest's heart was glad, and he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the graven image, and went in the midst of the people.

20 제사장이 마음에 기뻐하여 에봇과 드라빔과 새긴 우상을 취하고 그 백성 중으로 들어가니라

21 So they turned and departed, and put the little ones and the cattle and the carriage before them.

21 그들이 돌이켜서 어린 아이들과 가축과 물품을 앞에 두고 진행하더니

27 And they took the things which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people that were at quiet and secure: and they smote them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.

27 단 자손이 미가의 지은 것과 그 제사장을 취하고 라이스에 이르러 한가하고 평안한 백성을 만나 칼날로 그들을 치며 불로 그 성읍을 사르되

30 And the children of Dan set up the graven image: and Jonathan, the son of Gershom, the son of Manasseh, he and his sons were priests to the tribe of Dan until the day of the captivity of the land.

30 단 자손이 자기를 위하여 그 새긴 신상을 세웠고 모세의 손자 게르손의 아들 요나단과 그 자손은 단 지파의 제사장이 되어 이 백성이 사로잡히는 날까지 이르렀더라

31 And they set them up Micah's graven image, which he made, all the time that the house of God was in Shiloh.

31 하나님의 집이 실로에 있을 동안에 미가의 지은바 새긴 신상이 단 자손에게 있었더라

17 Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his breaches.

17 길르앗은 요단 저편에 거하거늘 단은 배에 머무름은 어찜이뇨 아셀은 해빈에 앉고 자기 시냇가에 거하도다

2 And there was a certain man of Zorah, of the family of the Danites, whose name was Manoah; and his wife was barren, and bare not.

2 소라 땅에 단 지파의 가족중 마노아라 이름하는 자가 있더라 그 아내가 잉태하지 못하므로 생산치 못하더니

24 And the woman bare a son, and called his name Samson: and the child grew, and the LORD blessed him.

24 여인이 아들을 낳으매 이름을 삼손이라 하니라 아이가 자라매 여호와께서 그에게 복을 주시더니

25 And the spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol.

25 소라와 에스다올 사이 마하네단에서 여호와의 신이 비로소 그에게 감동하시니라

35 And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.

35 단 자손 중에서 싸움을 잘하는 자가 이만 팔천 륙백명이요

22 Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.

22 단의 관장은 여로함의 아들 아사렐이니 이스라엘 지파의 관장이 이러하며
