12 And Timna was concubine to Eliphaz Esau's son; and she bare to Eliphaz Amalek: these were the sons of Adah Esau's wife.

12 에서의 아들 엘리바스의 첩 딤나는 아말렉을 엘리바스에게 낳았으니 이들은 에서의 아내 아다의 자손이며

16 Duke Korah, duke Gatam, and duke Amalek: these are the dukes that came of Eliphaz in the land of Edom; these were the sons of Adah.

16 고라 족장, 가담 족장, 아말렉 족장이니 이들은 에돔 땅에 있는 엘리바스로 말미암아 나온 족장들이요 이들은 아다의 자손이며

18 And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

18 또 왕을 길로 보내시며 이르시기를 가서 죄인 아말렉 사람을 진멸하되 다 없어지기까지 치라 하셨거늘

12 The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites, did oppress you; and ye cried to me, and I delivered you out of their hand.

12 또 시돈 사람과 아말렉 사람과 마온 사람이 너희를 압제할 때에 너희가 내게 부르짖으므로 내가 너희를 그들의 손에서 구원하였거늘

33 And Samuel said, As thy sword hath made women childless, so shall thy mother be childless among women. And Samuel hewed Agag in pieces before the LORD in Gilgal.

33 사무엘이 가로되 네 칼이 여인들로 무자케 한것 같이 여인 중 네 어미가 무자하리라 하고 그가 길갈에서 여호와 앞에서 아각을 찍어 쪼개니라

20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

20 사울이 사무엘에게 이르되 나는 실로 여호와의 목소리를 청종하여 여호와께서 보내신 길로 가서 아말렉 왕 아각을 끌어 왔고 아말렉 사람을 진멸하였으나

32 Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

32 사무엘이 가로되 너희는 아말렉 사람의 왕 아각을 내게로 이끌어 오라 하였더니 아각이 즐거이 오며 가로되 진실로 사망의 괴로움이 지났도다 하니라

7 He shall pour the water out of his buckets, and his seed shall be in many waters, and his king shall be higher than Agag, and his kingdom shall be exalted.

7 그 통에서는 물이 넘치겠고 그 종자는 많은 물 가에 있으리로다 그 왕이 아각보다 높으니 그 나라가 진흥하리로다

5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

5 사울이 아말렉성에 이르러 골짜기에 복병하니라

29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

29 아말렉인은 남방 땅에 거하고 헷인과 여부스인과 아모리인은 산지에 거하고 가나안인은 해변과 요단 가에 거하더이다

8 And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as thou goest to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.

8 다윗과 그의 사람들이 올라가서 그술 사람과 기르스 사람과 아말렉 사람을 침로하였으니 그들은 옛적부터 술과 애굽 땅으로 지나가는 지방의 거민이라

7 And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.

7 사울이 하윌라에서부터 애굽 앞 술에 이르기까지 아말렉 사람을 치고

7 And they returned, and came to Enmishpat, which is Kadesh, and smote all the country of the Amalekites, and also the Amorites, that dwelt in Hazezontamar.

7 그들이 돌이켜 엔미스밧 곧 가데스에 이르러 아말렉 족속의 온 땅과 하사손다말에 사는 아모리 족속을 친지라

6 And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye showed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

6 사울이 겐 사람에게 이르되 아말렉 사람 중에서 떠나 내려가라 그들과 함께 너희를 멸하게 될까 하노라 이스라엘 모든 자손이 애굽에서 올라올 때에 너희가 그들을 선대하였느니라 이에 겐 사람이 아말렉 사람 중에서 떠나니라

8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

8 때에 아말렉이 이르러 이스라엘과 르비딤에서 싸우니라

9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: to morrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.

9 모세가 여호수아에게 이르되 우리를 위하여 사람들을 택하여 나가서 아말렉과 싸우라 내일 내가 하나님의 지팡이를 손에 잡고 산꼭대기에 서리라

10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

10 여호수아가 모세의 말대로 행하여 아말렉과 싸우고 모세와 아론과 훌은 산꼭대기에 올라가서

11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

11 모세가 손을 들면 이스라엘이 이기고 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이기더니

12 But Moses' hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

12 모세의 팔이 피곤하매 그들이 돌을 가져다가 모세의 아래에 놓아 그로 그 위에 앉게 하고 아론과 훌이 하나는 이편에서, 하나는 저편에서 모세의 손을 붙들어 올렸더니 그 손이 해가 지도록 내려오지 아니한지라

13 And Joshua discomfited Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

13 여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 그 백성을 쳐서 파하니라

14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

14 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 이것을 책에 기록하여 기념하게 하고 여호수아의 귀에 외워 들리라 내가 아말렉을 도말하여 천하에서 기억함이 없게 하리라

16 For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

16 가로되 여호와께서 맹세하시기를 여호와가 아말렉으로 더불어 대대로 싸우리라 하셨다 하였더라

19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.

19 그러므로 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주어 기업으로 얻게 하시는 땅에서 네 하나님 여호와께서 너로 사면에 있는 모든 대적을 벗어나게 하시고 네게 안식을 주실 때에 너는 아말렉의 이름을 천하에서 도말할찌니라 너는 잊지 말찌니라

20 And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.

20 또 아말렉을 바라보며 노래를 지어 가로되 아말렉은 열국중 으뜸이나 종말은 멸망에 이르리로다 하고

45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and smote them, and discomfited them, even unto Hormah.

45 아말렉인과 산지에 거하는 가나안인이 내려와 쳐서 파하고 호르마까지 이르렀더라

13 And he gathered unto him the children of Ammon and Amalek, and went and smote Israel, and possessed the city of palm trees.

13 에글론이 암몬과 아말렉 자손들을 모아가지고 와서 이스라엘을 쳐서 종려나무 성읍을 점령한지라

14 Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.

14 에브라임에게서 나온 자는 아말렉에 뿌리 박힌 자요 그 다음에 베냐민은 너희 백성 중에 섞였으며 마길에게서는 다스리는 자들이 내려왔고 스불론에게서는 대장군의 지팡이를 잡은 자가 내려왔도다

15 And Abdon the son of Hillel the Pirathonite died, and was buried in Pirathon in the land of Ephraim, in the mount of the Amalekites.

15 비라돈 사람 힐렐의 아들 압돈이 죽으매 에브라임 땅 아말렉 사람의 산지 비라돈에 장사되었더라

3 And so it was, when Israel had sown, that the Midianites came up, and the Amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;

3 이스라엘이 파종한 때면 미디안 사람, 아말렉 사람, 동방 사람이 치러 올라와서

4 And they encamped against them, and destroyed the increase of the earth, till thou come unto Gaza, and left no sustenance for Israel, neither sheep, nor ox, nor ass.

4 진을 치고 가사에 이르도록 토지 소산을 멸하여 이스라엘 가운데 식물을 남겨두지 아니하며 양이나 소나 나귀도 남기지 아니하니

5 For they came up with their cattle and their tents, and they came as grasshoppers for multitude; for both they and their camels were without number: and they entered into the land to destroy it.

5 이는 그들이 그 짐승과 장막을 가지고 올라와서 메뚜기떼 같이 들어오니 그 사람과 약대가 무수함이라 그들이 그 땅에 들어와 멸하려 하니

33 Then all the Midianites and the Amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of Jezreel.

33 때에 미디안 사람과 아말렉 사람과 동방 사람들이 다 모여 요단을 건너와서 이스르엘 골짜기에 진을 친지라

34 But the spirit of the LORD came upon Gideon, and he blew a trumpet; and Abiezer was gathered after him.

34 여호와의 신이 기드온에게 강림하시니 기드온이 나팔을 불매 아비에셀 족속이 다 모여서 그를 좇고

21 And they stood every man in his place round about the camp: and all the host ran, and cried, and fled.

21 각기 당처에 서서 그 진을 사면으로 에워싸매 그 온 적군이 달음질하고 부르짖으며 도망하였는데

22 And the three hundred blew the trumpets, and the LORD set every man's sword against his fellow, even throughout all the host: and the host fled to Bethshittah in Zererath, and to the border of Abelmeholah, unto Tabbath.

22 삼백명이 나팔을 불 때에 여호와께서 그 온 적군으로 동무끼리 칼날로 치게 하시므로 적군이 도망하여 스레라의 벧 싯다에 이르고 또 답밧에 가까운 아벨므홀라의 경계에 이르렀으며

48 And he gathered an host, and smote the Amalekites, and delivered Israel out of the hands of them that spoiled them.

48 용맹 있게 아말렉 사람을 치고 이스라엘을 그 약탈하는 자의 손에서 건졌더라

1 Samuel also said unto Saul, The LORD sent me to anoint thee to be king over his people, over Israel: now therefore hearken thou unto the voice of the words of the LORD.

1 사무엘이 사울에게 이르되 여호와께서 나를 보내어 왕에게 기름을 부어 그 백성 이스라엘 위에 왕을 삼으셨은즉 이제 왕은 여호와의 말씀을 들으소서

2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.

2 만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 아말렉이 이스라엘에게 행한 일 곧 애굽에서 나올 때에 길에서 대적한 일을 내가 추억하노니

3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.

3 지금 가서 아말렉을 쳐서 그들의 모든 소유를 남기지 말고 진멸하되 남녀와 소아와 젖먹는 아이와 우양과 약대와 나귀를 죽이라 하셨나이다

4 And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

4 사울이 백성을 소집하고 그들을 들라임에서 계수하니 보병이 이십만이요 유다 사람이 일만이라

5 And Saul came to a city of Amalek, and laid wait in the valley.

5 사울이 아말렉성에 이르러 골짜기에 복병하니라

6 And Saul said unto the Kenites, Go, depart, get you down from among the Amalekites, lest I destroy you with them: for ye showed kindness to all the children of Israel, when they came up out of Egypt. So the Kenites departed from among the Amalekites.

6 사울이 겐 사람에게 이르되 아말렉 사람 중에서 떠나 내려가라 그들과 함께 너희를 멸하게 될까 하노라 이스라엘 모든 자손이 애굽에서 올라올 때에 너희가 그들을 선대하였느니라 이에 겐 사람이 아말렉 사람 중에서 떠나니라

7 And Saul smote the Amalekites from Havilah until thou comest to Shur, that is over against Egypt.

7 사울이 하윌라에서부터 애굽 앞 술에 이르기까지 아말렉 사람을 치고

8 And he took Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and utterly destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

8 아말렉 사람의 왕 아각을 사로잡고 칼날로 그 모든 백성을 진멸하였으되

9 But Saul and the people spared Agag, and the best of the sheep, and of the oxen, and of the fatlings, and the lambs, and all that was good, and would not utterly destroy them: but every thing that was vile and refuse, that they destroyed utterly.

9 사울과 백성이 아각과 그 양과 소의 가장 좋은 것 또는 기름진 것과 어린 양과 모든 좋은 것을 남기고 진멸키를 즐겨 아니하고 가치 없고 낮은 것은 진멸하니라

10 Then came the word of the LORD unto Samuel, saying,

10 여호와의 말씀이 사무엘에게 임하니라 가라사대

11 It repenteth me that I have set up Saul to be king: for he is turned back from following me, and hath not performed my commandments. And it grieved Samuel; and he cried unto the LORD all night.

11 내가 사울을 세워 왕 삼은 것을 후회하노니 그가 돌이켜서 나를 좇지 아니하며 내 명령을 이루지 아니하였음이니라 하신지라 사무엘이 근심하여 온 밤을 여호와께 부르짖으니라

12 And when Samuel rose early to meet Saul in the morning, it was told Samuel, saying, Saul came to Carmel, and, behold, he set him up a place, and is gone about, and passed on, and gone down to Gilgal.

12 사무엘이 사울을 만나려고 아침에 일찌기 일어났더니 혹이 사무엘에게 고하여 가로되 사울이 갈멜에 이르러 자기를 위하여 기념비를 세우고 돌이켜 행하여 길갈로 내려갔다 하는지라

13 And Samuel came to Saul: and Saul said unto him, Blessed be thou of the LORD: I have performed the commandment of the LORD.

13 사무엘이 사울에게 이른즉 사울이 그에게 이르되 원컨대 당신은 여호와께 복을 받으소서 내가 여호와의 명령을 행하였나이다

14 And Samuel said, What meaneth then this bleating of the sheep in mine ears, and the lowing of the oxen which I hear?

14 사무엘이 가로되 그러면 내 귀에 들어오는 이 양의 소리와 내게 들리는 소의 소리는 어찜이니이까

15 And Saul said, They have brought them from the Amalekites: for the people spared the best of the sheep and of the oxen, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God; and the rest we have utterly destroyed.

15 사울이 가로되 그것은 무리가 아말렉 사람에게서 끌어 온 것인데 백성이 당신의 하나님 여호와께 제사하려 하여 양과 소의 가장 좋은 것을 남김이요 그 외의 것은 우리가 진멸하였나이다

16 Then Samuel said unto Saul, Stay, and I will tell thee what the LORD hath said to me this night. And he said unto him, Say on.

16 사무엘이 사울에게 이르되 가만히 계시옵소서 간 밤에 여호와께서 내게 이르신 것을 왕에게 말하리이다 가로되 말씀하소서

17 And Samuel said, When thou wast little in thine own sight, wast thou not made the head of the tribes of Israel, and the LORD anointed thee king over Israel?

17 사무엘이 가로되 왕이 스스로 작게 여길 그 때에 이스라엘 지파의 머리가 되지 아니하셨나이까 여호와께서 왕에게 기름을 부어 이스라엘 왕을 삼으시고

18 And the LORD sent thee on a journey, and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

18 또 왕을 길로 보내시며 이르시기를 가서 죄인 아말렉 사람을 진멸하되 다 없어지기까지 치라 하셨거늘

19 Wherefore then didst thou not obey the voice of the LORD, but didst fly upon the spoil, and didst evil in the sight of the LORD?

19 어찌하여 왕이 여호와의 목소리를 청종치 아니하고 탈취하기에만 급하여 여호와의 악하게 여기시는 것을 행하였나이까

20 And Saul said unto Samuel, Yea, I have obeyed the voice of the LORD, and have gone the way which the LORD sent me, and have brought Agag the king of Amalek, and have utterly destroyed the Amalekites.

20 사울이 사무엘에게 이르되 나는 실로 여호와의 목소리를 청종하여 여호와께서 보내신 길로 가서 아말렉 왕 아각을 끌어 왔고 아말렉 사람을 진멸하였으나

21 But the people took of the spoil, sheep and oxen, the chief of the things which should have been utterly destroyed, to sacrifice unto the LORD thy God in Gilgal.

21 다만 백성이 그 마땅히 멸할 것 중에서 가장 좋은 것으로 길갈에서 당신의 하나님 여호와께 제사하려고 양과 소를 취하였나이다

22 And Samuel said, Hath the LORD as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the LORD? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

22 사무엘이 가로되 여호와께서 번제와 다른 제사를 그 목소리 순종하는 것을 좋아하심 같이 좋아하시겠나이까 순종이 제사보다 낫고 듣는것이 수양의 기름보다 나으니

23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.

23 이는 거역하는 것은 사술의 죄와 같고 완고한 것은 사신 우상에게 절하는 죄와 같음이라 왕이 여호와의 말씀을 버렸으므로 여호와께서도 왕을 버려 왕이 되지 못하게 하셨나이다

24 And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned: for I have transgressed the commandment of the LORD, and thy words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

24 사울이 사무엘에게 이르되 내가 범죄하였나이다 내가 여호와의 명령과 당신의 말씀을 어긴 것은 내가 백성을 두려워하여 그 말을 청종하였음이니이다

25 Now therefore, I pray thee, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship the LORD.

25 청하오니 지금 내 죄를 사하고 나와 함께 돌아가서 나로 여호와께 경배하게 하소서

26 And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with thee: for thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, and the LORD hath rejected thee from being king over Israel.

26 사무엘이 사울에게 이르되 나는 왕과 함께 돌아가지 아니하리니 이는 왕이 여호와의 말씀을 버렸으므로 여호와께서 왕을 버려 이스라엘 왕이 되지 못하게 하셨음이니이다 하고

18 Because thou obeyedst not the voice of the LORD, nor executedst his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore hath the LORD done this thing unto thee this day.

18 네가 여호와의 목소리를 순종치 아니하고 그의 진노를 아말렉에게 쏟지 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 오늘날 이 일을 네게 행하셨고

32 Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him delicately. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.

9 And David smote the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.

9 다윗이 그 땅을 쳐서 남녀를 살려두지 아니하고 양과 소와 나귀와 약대와 의복을 취하고 돌아와서 아기스에게 이르매

1 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;

1 다윗과 그의 사람들이 제 삼일에 시글락에 이를 때에 아말렉 사람들이 이미 남방과 시글락을 침로하였는데 그들이 시글락을 쳐서 불사르고

2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.

2 거기 있는 대소 여인들을 하나도 죽이지 아니하고 다 사로잡아 끌고 자기 길을 갔더라

10 But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.

10 곧 피곤하여 브솔 시내를 건너지 못하는 이백인을 머물렀고 다윗은 사백인을 거느리고 쫓아가니라

11 And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;

11 무리가 들에서 애굽 사람 하나를 만나 다윗에게로 데려다가 떡을 주어 먹게 하며 물을 마시우고

12 And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights.

12 무화과 뭉치에서 뗀 덩이 하나와 건포도 두 송이를 주었으니 그가 낮 사흘, 밤 사흘을 떡도 먹지 못하였고 물도 마시지 못하였음이라 그가 먹고 정신을 차리매

13 And David said unto him, To whom belongest thou? and whence art thou? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick.

13 다윗이 그에게 이르되 너는 뉘게 속하였으며 어디로서냐 가로되 나는 애굽 소년이요 아말렉 사람의 종이더니 사흘 전에 병이 들매 주인이 나를 버렸나이다

14 We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongeth to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.

14 우리가 그렛 사람의 남방과 유다에 속한 지방과 갈멜 남방을 침로하고 시글락을 불살랐나이다

15 And David said to him, Canst thou bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that thou wilt neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring thee down to this company.

15 다윗이 그에게 이르되 네가 나를 그 군대에게로 인도하겠느냐 그가 가로되 당신이 나를 죽이지도 아니하고 내 주인의 수중에 붙이지도 아니하겠다고 하나님으로 맹세하소서 그리하면 내가 당신을 이 군대에게로 인도하리이다

16 And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.

16 그가 인도하여 내려가니 그들이 온 땅에 편만하여 블레셋 사람의 땅과 유다 땅에서 크게 탈취하였음을 인하여 먹고 마시며 춤추는지라

17 And David smote them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.

17 다윗이 새벽부터 이튿날 저물때까지 그들을 치매 약대 타고 도망한 소년 사백명 외에는 피한 사람이 없었더라

18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.

18 다윗이 아말렉 사람의 취하였던 모든 것을 도로 찾고 그 두 아내를 구원하였고

19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.

19 그들의 탈취하였던것 곧 무리의 자녀들이나 빼앗겼던 것의 대소를 물론하고 아무 것도 잃은 것이 없이 다윗이 도로 찾아왔고

20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drave before those other cattle, and said, This is David's spoil.

20 또 양떼와 소떼를 다 탈취하였더니 무리가 그 가축 앞에 몰고 가며 가로되 이는 다윗의 탈취한 것이라 하였더라

11 Which also king David did dedicate unto the LORD, with the silver and gold that he had dedicated of all nations which he subdued;

11 다윗왕이 그것도 여호와께 드리되 저가 정복한 모든 나라에서 얻은 은금

12 Of Syria, and of Moab, and of the children of Ammon, and of the Philistines, and of Amalek, and of the spoil of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

12 곧 아람과 모압과 암몬 자손과 블레셋 사람과 아말렉에게서 얻은 것들과 소바 왕 르홉의 아들 하닷에셀에게서 노략한 것과 같이 드리니라

7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;

7 그발과 암몬과 아말렉이며 블레셋과 두로 거민이요

41 And these written by name came in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and smote their tents, and the habitations that were found there, and destroyed them utterly unto this day, and dwelt in their rooms: because there was pasture there for their flocks.

41 이 위에 녹명된 자가 유다 왕 히스기야 때에 가서 저희의 장막을 쳐서 파하고 거기 있는 모우님 사람을 쳐서 진멸하고 대신하여 오늘까지 거기 거하였으니 이는 그 양떼를 먹일 목장이 거기 있음이며

42 And some of them, even of the sons of Simeon, five hundred men, went to mount Seir, having for their captains Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rephaiah, and Uzziel, the sons of Ishi.

42 또 시므온 자손 중에 오백명이 이시의 아들 블라댜와 느아랴와 르바야와 웃시엘로 두목을 삼고 세일산으로 가서

43 And they smote the rest of the Amalekites that were escaped, and dwelt there unto this day.

43 피하여 남아 있는 아말렉 사람을 치고 오늘까지 거기 거하였더라
