3 Asshur shall not save us; we will not ride upon horses: neither will we say any more to the work of our hands, Ye are our gods: for in thee the fatherless findeth mercy.

3 우리가 앗수르의 구원을 의지하지 아니하며 말을 타지 아니하며 다시는 우리의 손으로 지은 것을 향하여 너희는 우리 신이라 하지 아니하오리니 이는 고아가 주께로 말미암아 긍휼을 얻음이니이다 할찌니라

5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.

5 그 거룩한 처소에 계신 하나님은 고아의 아버지시며 과부의 재판장이시라

14 Thou hast seen it: for thou beholdest mischief and spite, to requite it with thy hand: the poor committeth himself unto thee; thou art the helper of the fatherless.

14 주께서는 보셨나이다 잔해와 원한을 감찰하시고 주의 손으로 갚으려 하시오니 외로운 자가 주를 의지하나이다 주는 벌써부터 고아를 도우시는 자니이다

23 If thou afflict them in any wise, and they cry at all unto me, I will surely hear their cry;

23 네가 만일 그들을 해롭게 하므로 그들이 내게 부르짖으면 내가 반드시 그 부르짖음을 들을찌라

18 He doth execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loveth the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.

18 고아와 과부를 위하여 신원하시며 나그네를 사랑하사 그에게 식물과 의복을 주시나니

18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

18 고아와 압박 당하는 자를 위하여 심판하사 세상에 속한 자로 다시는 위협지 못하게 하시리이다

24 And my wrath shall wax hot, and I will kill you with the sword; and your wives shall be widows, and your children fatherless.

24 나의 노가 맹렬하므로 내가 칼로 너희를 죽이리니 너희 아내는 과부가 되고 너희 자녀는 고아가 되리라

1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness which they have prescribed;

1 불의한 법령을 발포하며 불의한 말을 기록하며

2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!

2 빈핍한 자를 불공평하게 판결하여 내 백성의 가련한 자의 권리를 박탈하며 과부에게 토색하고 고아의 것을 약탈하는 자는 화 있을진저

3 And what will ye do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation which shall come from far? to whom will ye flee for help? and where will ye leave your glory?

3 너희에게 벌하시는 날에와 멀리서 오는 환난 때에 너희가 어떻게 하려느냐 누구에게로 도망하여 도움을 구하겠으며 너희 영화를 어느 곳에 두려느냐

5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

5 내가 심판하러 너희에게 임할 것이라 술수하는 자에게와 간음하는 자에게와 거짓 맹세하는 자에게와 품군의 삯에 대하여 억울케 하며 과부와 고아를 압제하며 나그네를 억울케 하며 나를 경외치 아니하는 자들에게 속히 증거하리라 만군의 여호와가 말하였느니라

28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.

28 살찌고 윤택하며 또 행위가 심히 악하여 자기 이익을 얻으려고 송사 곧 고아의 송사를 공정히 하지 아니하며 빈민의 송사를 공평히 판결치 아니하니

29 Shall I not visit for these things? saith the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?

29 내가 이 일들을 인하여 벌하지 아니하겠으며 내 마음이 이같은 나라에 보수하지 않겠느냐 여호와의 말이니라

27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

27 하나님 아버지 앞에서 정결하고 더러움이 없는 경건은 곧 고아와 과부를 그 환난 중에 돌아보고 또 자기를 지켜 세속에 물들지 아니하는 이것이니라

29 And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.

29 너의 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 레위인과 네 성중에 우거하는 객과 및 고아와 과부들로 와서 먹어 배부르게 하라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 손으로 하는 범사에 네게 복을 주시리라

3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

3 가난한 자와 고아를 위하여 판단하며 곤란한 자와 빈궁한 자에게 공의를 베풀찌며

17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow.

17 선행을 배우며 공의를 구하며 학대 받는 자를 도와주며 고아를 위하여 신원하며 과부를 위하여 변호하라 하셨느니라

17 Thou shalt not pervert the judgment of the stranger, nor of the fatherless; nor take a widow's raiment to pledge:

17 너는 객이나 고아의 송사를 억울하게 말며 과부의 옷을 전집하지 말라

10 Remove not the old landmark; and enter not into the fields of the fatherless:

10 옛 지계석을 옮기지 말며 외로운 자식의 밭을 침범하지 말지어다

22 Ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.

22 너는 과부나 고아를 해롭게 하지 말라

10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.

10 과부와 고아와 나그네와 궁핍한 자를 압제하지 말며 남을 해하려하여 심중에 도모하지 말라 하였으나

3 Thus saith the LORD; Execute ye judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.

3 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 너희가 공평과 정의를 행하여 탈취 당한 자를 압박하는 자의 손에서 건지고 이방인과 고아와 과부를 압제하거나 학대하지 말며 이곳에서 무죄한 피를 흘리지 말라

29 And the Levite, (because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee,) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.

29 너의 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 레위인과 네 성중에 우거하는 객과 및 고아와 과부들로 와서 먹어 배부르게 하라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 손으로 하는 범사에 네게 복을 주시리라

12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

12 이는 내가 부르짖는 빈민과 도와줄 자 없는 고아를 건졌음이라

13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

13 망하게 된 자도 나를 위하여 복을 빌었으며 과부의 마음이 나로 인하여 기뻐 노래하였었느니라

6 If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt:

6 이방인과 고아와 과부를 압제하지 말며 무죄한 자의 피를 이곳에서 흘리지 아니하며 다른 신들을 좇아 스스로 해하지 아니하면

7 Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

7 내가 너희를 이곳에 거하게 하리니 곧 너희 조상에게 영원 무궁히 준 이 땅에니라

2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob the fatherless!

2 빈핍한 자를 불공평하게 판결하여 내 백성의 가련한 자의 권리를 박탈하며 과부에게 토색하고 고아의 것을 약탈하는 자는 화 있을진저

27 Yea, ye overwhelm the fatherless, and ye dig a pit for your friend.

27 너희는 고아를 제비 뽑으며 너희 벗을 매매할 자로구나

7 In thee have they set light by father and mother: in the midst of thee have they dealt by oppression with the stranger: in thee have they vexed the fatherless and the widow.

7 그들이 네 가운데서 부모를 업신여겼으며 네 가운데서 나그네를 학대하였으며 네 가운데서 고아와 과부를 해하였도다

3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.

3 고아의 나귀를 몰아 가며 과부의 소를 볼모 잡으며

6 They slay the widow and the stranger, and murder the fatherless.

6 과부와 나그네를 죽이며 고아를 살해하며

23 Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither doth the cause of the widow come unto them.

23 네 방백들은 패역하여 도적과 짝하며 다 뇌물을 사랑하며 사례물을 구하며 고아를 위하여 신원치 아니하며 과부의 송사를 수리치 아니하는도다

28 They are waxen fat, they shine: yea, they overpass the deeds of the wicked: they judge not the cause, the cause of the fatherless, yet they prosper; and the right of the needy do they not judge.

28 살찌고 윤택하며 또 행위가 심히 악하여 자기 이익을 얻으려고 송사 곧 고아의 송사를 공정히 하지 아니하며 빈민의 송사를 공평히 판결치 아니하니

19 Cursed be he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

19 객이나 고아나 과부의 송사를 억울케 하는 자는 저주를 받을 것이라 할 것이요 모든 백성은 아멘 할찌니라

11 Leave thy fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let thy widows trust in me.

11 네 고아들을 남겨 두라 내가 그들을 살려 두리라 네 과부들은 나를 의지할 것이니라

3 We are orphans and fatherless, our mothers are as widows.

3 우리는 아비 없는 외로운 자식이오며 우리 어미는 과부 같으니

27 Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.

27 데라의 후예는 이러하니라 데라는 아브람과 나홀과 하란을 낳았고 하란은 롯을 낳았으며

28 And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.

28 하란은 그 아비 데라보다 먼저 본토 갈대아 우르에서 죽었더라

1 Then came the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph: and these are the names of his daughters; Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.

1 요셉의 아들 므낫세 가족에 므낫세의 현손 마길의 증손 길르앗의 손자 헤벨의 아들 슬로브핫의 딸들이 나아왔으니 그 딸들의 이름은 말라와 노아와 호글라와 밀가와 디르사라

2 And they stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, saying,

2 그들이 회막 문에서 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 족장들과 온 회중 앞에 서서 가로되

3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not in the company of them that gathered themselves together against the LORD in the company of Korah; but died in his own sin, and had no sons.

3 우리 아버지가 광야에서 죽었으나 여호와를 거스려 모인 고라의 무리에 들지 아니하고 자기 죄에 죽었고 아들이 없나이다

4 Why should the name of our father be done away from among his family, because he hath no son? Give unto us therefore a possession among the brethren of our father.

4 어찌하여 아들이 없다고 우리 아버지의 이름이 그 가족 중에서 삭제되리이까 우리 아버지의 형제 중에서 우리에게 기업을 주소서 하매

5 And Moses brought their cause before the LORD.

5 모세가 그 사연을 여호와께 품하니라

16 Now therefore, if ye have done truly and sincerely, in that ye have made Abimelech king, and if ye have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have done unto him according to the deserving of his hands;

16 이제 너희가 아비멜렉을 세워 왕을 삼았으니 너희 행한 것이 과연 진실하고 의로우냐 이것이 여룹바알과 그 집을 선대함이냐 이것이 그 행한대로 그에게 보답함이냐

17 (For my father fought for you, and adventured his life far, and delivered you out of the hand of Midian:

17 우리 아버지가 전에 죽음을 무릅쓰고 너희를 위하여 싸워 미디안의 손에서 너희를 건져내었거늘

18 And ye are risen up against my father's house this day, and have slain his sons, threescore and ten persons, upon one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your brother;)

18 너희가 오늘날 일어나서 우리 아버지의 집을 쳐서 그 아들 칠십인을 한 반석 위에서 죽이고 그 여종의 아들 아비멜렉이 너희 형제가 된다고 그를 세워 세겜 사람의 왕을 삼았도다

19 If ye then have dealt truly and sincerely with Jerubbaal and with his house this day, then rejoice ye in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you:

19 만일 너희가 오늘날 여룹바알과 그 집을 대접한 것이 진실과 의로움이면 너희가 아비멜렉을 인하여 즐길 것이요 아비멜렉도 너희를 인하여 즐기려니와

20 But if not, let fire come out from Abimelech, and devour the men of Shechem, and the house of Millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem, and from the house of Millo, and devour Abimelech.

20 그렇지 아니하면 아비멜렉에게서 불이 나와서 세겜 사람들과 밀로 족속을 사를것이요 세겜 사람들과 밀로 족속에게서도 불이 나와서 아비멜렉을 사를 것이니라 하고

21 And Jotham ran away, and fled, and went to Beer, and dwelt there, for fear of Abimelech his brother.

21 요담이 그 형제 아비멜렉을 두려워하여 달려 도망하여 브엘로 가서 거기 거하니라

3 And the king said, Is there not yet any of the house of Saul, that I may show the kindness of God unto him? And Ziba said unto the king, Jonathan hath yet a son, which is lame on his feet.

3 왕이 가로되 사울의 집에 남은 사람이 없느냐 내가 그 사람에게 하나님의 은총을 베풀고자 하노라 시바가 왕께 고하되 요나단의 아들 하나가 있는데 절뚝발이니이다

1 And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.

1 아하시야의 모친 아달랴가 그 아들의 죽은 것을 보고 일어나 왕의 씨를 진멸하였으나

2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of king Joram, sister of Ahaziah, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons which were slain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamber from Athaliah, so that he was not slain.

2 요람왕의 딸 아하시야의 누이 여호세바가 아하시야의 아들 요아스를 왕자들의 죽임을 당하는 중에서 도적하여 내고 저와 그 유모를 침실에 숨겨 아달랴를 피하여 죽임을 당치 않게 한지라

3 And he was with her hid in the house of the LORD six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land.

3 요아스가 저와 함께 여호와의 전에 육년을 숨어 있는 동안에 아달랴가 나라를 다스렸더라

4 And the seventh year Jehoiada sent and fetched the rulers over hundreds, with the captains and the guard, and brought them to him into the house of the LORD, and made a covenant with them, and took an oath of them in the house of the LORD, and showed them the king's son.

4 제 칠년에 여호야다가 보내어 가리 사람의 백부장들과 호위병의 백부장들을 불러 데리고 여호와의 전으로 들어가서 저희와 언약을 세우고 저희로 여호와의 전에서 맹세케 한 후에 왕자를 보이고

5 And he commanded them, saying, This is the thing that ye shall do; A third part of you that enter in on the sabbath shall even be keepers of the watch of the king's house;

5 명하여 가로되 너희의 행할 것이 이러하니 안식일에 입번한 너희 중 삼분 일은 왕궁을 주의하여 지키고

6 And a third part shall be at the gate of Sur; and a third part at the gate behind the guard: so shall ye keep the watch of the house, that it be not broken down.

6 삼분 일은 수르문에 있고 삼분 일은 호위대 뒤에 있는 문에 있어서 이와 같이 왕궁을 주의하여 지켜 방어하고

7 And two parts of all you that go forth on the sabbath, even they shall keep the watch of the house of the LORD about the king.

7 안식일에 출번하는 너희 중 두 대는 여호와의 전을 주의하여 지켜 왕을 호위하되

8 And ye shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand: and he that cometh within the ranges, let him be slain: and be ye with the king as he goeth out and as he cometh in.

8 너희는 각각 손에 병기를 잡고 왕을 호위하며 무릇 너희 반열을 침범하는 자는 죽이고 왕의 출입할 때에 시위할찌니라

9 And the captains over the hundreds did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest commanded: and they took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that should go out on the sabbath, and came to Jehoiada the priest.

9 백부장들이 이에 제사장 여호야다의 모든 명대로 행하여 각기 관할하는바 안식일에 입번할 자와 출번할 자를 거느리고 제사장 여호야다에게 나아오매

10 And to the captains over hundreds did the priest give king David's spears and shields, that were in the temple of the LORD.

10 제사장이 여호와의 전에 있는 다윗왕의 창과 방패를 백부장들에게 주니

11 And the guard stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, round about the king, from the right corner of the temple to the left corner of the temple, along by the altar and the temple.

11 호위병이 각각 손에 병기를 잡고 왕을 호위하되 전 우편에서부터 전 좌편까지 단과 전 곁에 서고

12 And he brought forth the king's son, and put the crown upon him, and gave him the testimony; and they made him king, and anointed him; and they clapped their hands, and said, God save the king.

12 여호야다가 왕자를 인도하여 내어 면류관을 씌우며 율법 책을 주고 기름을 부어 왕을 삼으매 무리가 박수하며 왕의 만세를 부르니라

7 And he brought up Hadassah, that is, Esther, his uncle's daughter: for she had neither father nor mother, and the maid was fair and beautiful; whom Mordecai, when her father and mother were dead, took for his own daughter.

7 저의 삼촌의 딸 하닷사 곧 에스더는 부모가 없고 용모가 곱고 아리따운 처녀라 그 부모가 죽은 후에 모르드개가 자기 딸 같이 양육하더라
