1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.

1 은은 나는 광이 있고 연단하는 금은 나는 곳이 있으며

2 Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.

2 철은 흙에서 취하고 동은 돌에서 녹여 얻느니라

6 The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it hath dust of gold.

6 그 돌 가운데에는 남보석이 있고 사금도 있으며

11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasseth the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold;

11 첫째의 이름은 비손이라 금이 있는 하윌라 온 땅에 둘렸으며

12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone.

12 그 땅의 금은 정금이요 그곳에는 베델리엄과 호마노도 있으며

2 And put my cup, the silver cup, in the sack's mouth of the youngest, and his corn money. And he did according to the word that Joseph had spoken.

2 또 내 잔 곧 은잔을 그 소년의 자루 아구에 넣고 그 양식 값 돈도 함께 넣으라 하매 그가 요셉의 명령대로 하고

2 And thou shalt make the horns of it upon the four corners thereof: his horns shall be of the same: and thou shalt overlay it with brass.

2 그 네 모퉁이 위에 뿔을 만들되 그 뿔이 그것에 연하게 하고 그 단을 놋으로 쌀찌며

4 And thou shalt make for it a grate of network of brass; and upon the net shalt thou make four brazen rings in the four corners thereof.

4 단을 위하여 놋으로 그물을 만들고 그 위 네 모퉁이에 놋고리 넷을 만들고

10 Instead of which king Rehoboam made shields of brass, and committed them to the hands of the chief of the guard, that kept the entrance of the king's house.

10 르호보암왕이 그 대신에 놋으로 방패를 만들어 궁문을 지키는 시위대 장관들의 손에 맡기매

27 Also twenty basins of gold, of a thousand drams; and two vessels of fine copper, precious as gold.

27 또 금잔이 이십개라 중수는 일천 다릭이요 또 아름답고 빛나 금 같이 보배로운 놋그릇이 두개라

14 Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

14 구리 장색 알렉산더가 내게 해를 많이 보였으매 주께서 그 행한대로 저에게 갚으시리니

16 And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

16 만일 철 연장으로 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 고살한 자니 그 고살자를 반드시 죽일 것이요

17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

17 철이 철을 날카롭게 하는 것 같이 사람이 그 친구의 얼굴을 빛나게 하느니라

10 Thou didst blow with thy wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

10 주께서 주의 바람을 일으키시매 바다가 그들을 덮으니 그들이 흉용한 물에 납 같이 잠겼나이다

29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.

29 풀무를 맹렬히 불면 그 불에 납이 살라져서 단련하는 자의 일이 헛되게 되느니라 이와 같이 악한 자가 제하여지지 아니하나니

22 Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

22 금, 은, 동, 철과 상납과 납의

17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness.

17 내가 금을 가져 놋을 대신하며 은을 가져 철을 대신하며 놋으로 나무를 대신하며 철로 돌을 대신하며 화평을 세워 관원을 삼으며 의를 세워 감독을 삼으리니

32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver, his belly and his thighs of brass,

32 그 우상의 머리는 정금이요 가슴과 팔들은 은이요 배와 넓적다리는 놋이요

33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.

33 그 종아리는 철이요 그 발은 얼마는 철이요 얼마는 진흙이었나이다

34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.

34 또 왕이 보신즉 사람의 손으로 하지 아니하고 뜨인 돌이 신상의 철과 진흙의 발을 쳐서 부숴뜨리매

35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshingfloors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.

35 때에 철과 진흙과 놋과 은과 금이 다 부숴져 여름 타작마당의 겨 같이 되어 바람에 불려 간곳이 없었고 우상을 친 돌은 태산을 이루어 온 세계에 가득하였었나이다

36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.

36 그 꿈이 이러한즉 내가 이제 그 해석을 왕 앞에 진술하리이다

37 Thou, O king, art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.

37 왕이여 왕은 열왕의 왕이시라 하늘의 하나님이 나라와 권세와 능력과 영광을 왕에게 주셨고

38 And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.

38 인생들과 들짐승과 공중의 새들, 어느곳에 있는 것을 무론하고 그것들을 왕의 손에 붙이사 다 다스리게 하셨으니 왕은 곧 그 금머리니이다

39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee, and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.

39 왕의 후에 왕만 못한 다른 나라가 일어날 것이요 세째로 또 놋 같은 나라가 일어나서 온 세계를 다스릴 것이며

40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things: and as iron that breaketh all these, shall it break in pieces and bruise.

40 네째 나라는 강하기가 철 같으리니 철은 모든 물건을 부숴뜨리고 이기는 것이라 철이 모든 것을 부수는 것 같이 그 나라가 뭇 나라를 부숴뜨리고 빻을 것이며

41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.

41 왕께서 그 발과 발가락이 얼마는 토기장이의 진흙이요 얼마는 철인 것을 보셨은즉 그 나라가 나누일 것이며 왕께서 철과 진흙이 섞인 것을 보셨은즉 그 나라가 철의 든든함이 있을 것이나

42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.

42 그 발가락이 얼마는 철이요 얼마는 진흙인즉 그 나라가 얼마는 든든하고 얼마는 부숴질만할 것이며

43 And whereas thou sawest iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron is not mixed with clay.

43 왕께서 철과 진흙이 섞인 것을 보셨은즉 그들이 다른 인종과 서로 섞일 것이나 피차에 합하지 아니함이 철과 진흙이 합하지 않음과 같으리이다

44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.

44 이 열왕의 때에 하늘의 하나님이 한 나라를 세우시리니 이것은 영원히 망하지도 아니할 것이요 그 국권이 다른 백성에게로 돌아가지도 아니할 것이요 도리어 이 모든 나라를 쳐서 멸하고 영원히 설 것이라

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

45 왕이 사람의 손으로 아니하고 산에서 뜨인 돌이 철과 놋과 진흙과 은과 금을 부숴뜨린 것을 보신 것은 크신 하나님이 장래 일을 왕께 알게 하신 것이라 이 꿈이 참되고 이 해석이 확실하니이다

25 And I will turn my hand upon thee, and purely purge away thy dross, and take away all thy tin:

25 내가 또 나의 손을 네게 돌려 너의 찌끼를 온전히 청결하여 버리며 너의 혼잡물을 다 제하여 버리고

9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

9 너의 먹는 식물의 결핍함이 없고 네게 아무 부족함이 없는 땅이며 그 땅의 돌은 철이요 산에서는 동을 캘 것이라

21 And his brother's name was Jubal: he was the father of all such as handle the harp and organ.

21 그 아우의 이름은 유발이니 그는 수금과 퉁소를 잡는 모든 자의 조상이 되었으며

18 Son of man, the house of Israel is to me become dross: all they are brass, and tin, and iron, and lead, in the midst of the furnace; they are even the dross of silver.

18 인자야 이스라엘 족속이 내게 찌끼가 되었나니 곧 풀무 가운데 있는 놋이나 상납이나 철이나 납이며 은의 찌끼로다

20 As they gather silver, and brass, and iron, and lead, and tin, into the midst of the furnace, to blow the fire upon it, to melt it; so will I gather you in mine anger and in my fury, and I will leave you there, and melt you.

20 사람이 은이나 놋이나 철이나 납이나 상납이나 모아서 풀무 속에 넣고 불을 불어 녹이는 것 같이 내가 노와 분으로 너희를 모아 거기 두고 녹일찌라

21 And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;

21 제사장 엘르아살이 싸움에 나갔던 군인들에게 이르되 이는 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 법률이니라

22 Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

22 금, 은, 동, 철과 상납과 납의

23 Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.

23 무릇 불에 견딜만한 물건은 불을 지나게 하라 그리하면 깨끗하려니와 오히려 정결케 하는 물로 그것을 깨끗케 할 것이며 무릇 불에 견디지 못할 모든 것은 물을 지나게 할 것이니라

4 Yet he restored the money unto his mother; and his mother took two hundred shekels of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and they were in the house of Micah.

4 미가가 그 은을 어미에게 도로 주었으므로 어미가 그 은 이백을 취하여 은장색에게 주어 한 신상을 새기며 한 신상을 부어만들었더니 그 신상이 미가의 집에 있더라

29 The bellows are burned, the lead is consumed of the fire; the founder melteth in vain: for the wicked are not plucked away.

29 풀무를 맹렬히 불면 그 불에 납이 살라져서 단련하는 자의 일이 헛되게 되느니라 이와 같이 악한 자가 제하여지지 아니하나니

46 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between Succoth and Zarthan.

46 왕이 요단 평지에서 숙곳과 사르단 사이의 차진 흙에 그것들을 부어 내었더라

12 Tarshish was thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

12 다시스는 각종 보화가 풍부하므로 너와 통상하였음이여 은과 철과 상납과 납을 가지고 네 물품을 무역하였도다
