마태복음 15:4-6
4 For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
4 하나님이 이르셨으되 네 부모를 공경하라 하시고 또 아비나 어미를 훼방하는 자는 반드시 죽으리라 하셨거늘
5 But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
5 너희는 가로되 누구든지 아비에게나 어미에게 말하기를 내가 드려 유익하게 할것이 하나님께 드림이 되었다고 하기만 하면
6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
6 그 부모를 공경할 것이 없다 하여 너희 유전으로 하나님의 말씀을 폐하는도다
민수기 11:28-29
28 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
28 택한 자 중 한 사람 곧 모세를 섬기는 눈의 아들 여호수아가 말하여 가로되 내 주 모세여 금하소서
29 And Moses said unto him, Enviest thou for my sake? would God that all the LORD'S people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
29 모세가 그에게 이르되 네가 나를 위하여 시기하느냐 여호와께서 그 신을 그 모든 백성에게 주사 다 선지자 되게 하시기를 원하노라
사무엘하 15:1-12
1 And it came to pass after this, that Absalom prepared him chariots and horses, and fifty men to run before him.
1 이 후에 압살롬이 자기를 위하여 병거와 말들을 준비하고 전배 오십명을 세우니라
2 And Absalom rose up early, and stood beside the way of the gate: and it was so, that when any man that had a controversy came to the king for judgment, then Absalom called unto him, and said, Of what city art thou? And he said, Thy servant is of one of the tribes of Israel.
2 압살롬이 일찌기 일어나 성문 길 곁에 서서 어떤 사람이든지 송사가 있어 왕에게 재판을 청하러 올 때에 그 사람을 불러서 이르되 너는 어느 성 사람이냐 그 사람의 대답이 종은 이스라엘 아무 지파에 속하였나이다 하면
3 And Absalom said unto him, See, thy matters are good and right; but there is no man deputed of the king to hear thee.
3 압살롬이 저에게 이르기를 네 일이 옳고 바르다마는 네 송사 들을 사람을 왕께서 세우지 아니하셨다 하고
4 Absalom said moreover, Oh that I were made judge in the land, that every man which hath any suit or cause might come unto me, and I would do him justice!
4 또 이르기를 내가 이 땅에서 재판관이 되고 누구든지 송사나 재판할 일이 있어 내게로 오는 자에게 내가 공의 베풀기를 원하노라 하고
5 And it was so, that when any man came nigh to him to do him obeisance, he put forth his hand, and took him, and kissed him.
5 사람이 가까이 와서 절하려 하면 압살롬이 손을 펴서 그 사람을 붙들고 입을 맞추니
6 And on this manner did Absalom to all Israel that came to the king for judgment: so Absalom stole the hearts of the men of Israel.
6 무릇 이스라엘 무리 중에 왕께 재판을 청하러 오는 자들에게 압살롬의 행함이 이 같아서 이스라엘 사람의 마음을 도적하니라
7 And it came to pass after forty years, that Absalom said unto the king, I pray thee, let me go and pay my vow, which I have vowed unto the LORD, in Hebron.
7 사년만에 압살롬이 왕께 고하되 내가 여호와께 서원한 것이 있사오니 청컨대 나로 헤브론에 가서 그 서원을 이루게 하소서
8 For thy servant vowed a vow while I abode at Geshur in Syria, saying, If the LORD shall bring me again indeed to Jerusalem, then I will serve the LORD.
8 종이 아람 그술에 있을 때에 서원하기를 만일 여호와께서 나를 예루살렘으로 돌아가게 하시면 내가 여호와를 섬기리이다 하였나이다
9 And the king said unto him, Go in peace. So he arose, and went to Hebron.
9 왕이 저에게 이르되 평안히 가라 하니 저가 일어나 헤브론으로 가니라
10 But Absalom sent spies throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, As soon as ye hear the sound of the trumpet, then ye shall say, Absalom reigneth in Hebron.
10 이에 압살롬이 정탐을 이스라엘 모든 지파 가운데 두루 보내어 이르기를 너희는 나팔소리를 듣거든 곧 부르기를 압살롬이 헤브론에서 왕이 되었다 하라 하니라
11 And with Absalom went two hundred men out of Jerusalem, that were called; and they went in their simplicity, and they knew not any thing.
11 그 때에 압살롬에게 청함을 받은 이백명이 그 사기를 알지 못하고 아무 뜻 없이 예루살렘에서 저와 함께 갔으며
12 And Absalom sent for Ahithophel the Gilonite, David's counsellor, from his city, even from Giloh, while he offered sacrifices. And the conspiracy was strong; for the people increased continually with Absalom.
12 제사 드릴 때에 압살롬이 사람을 보내어 다윗의 모사 길로 사람 아히도벨을 그 성읍 길로에서 청하여 온지라 반역하는 일이 커가매 압살롬에게로 돌아오는 백성이 많아지니라
신명기 21:18-21
18 If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them:
18 사람에게 완악하고 패역한 아들이 있어 그 아비의 말이나 그 어미의 말을 순종치 아니하고 부모가 징책하여도 듣지 아니하거든
19 Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place;
19 그 부모가 그를 잡아가지고 성문에 이르러 그 성읍 장로들에게 나아가서
20 And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard.
20 그 성읍 장로들에게 말하기를 우리의 이 자식은 완악하고 패역하여 우리 말을 순종치 아니하고 방탕하며 술에 잠긴 자라 하거든
21 And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear.
21 그 성읍의 모든 사람들이 그를 돌로 쳐 죽일찌니 이같이 네가 너의 중에 악을 제하라 그리하면 온 이스라엘이 듣고 두려워하리라
잠언 30:11, 17
11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
11 아비를 저주하며 어미를 축복하지 아니하는 무리가 있느니라
17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.
17 아비를 조롱하며 어미 순종하기를 싫어하는 자의 눈은 골짜기의 까마귀에게 쪼이고 독수리 새끼에게 먹히리라
