문답 32 둘째 언약에는 하나님의 은혜가 어떻게 나타납니까?

How is the grace of God manifested in the second covenant?

The grace of God is manifested in the second covenant, in that he freely provideth and offereth to sinners a Mediator,¹ and life and salvation by him;² and requiring faith as the condition to interest them in him,³ promiseth and giveth his Holy Spirit⁴ to all his elect, to work in them that faith,⁵ with all other saving graces;⁶ and to enable them unto all holy obedience,⁷ as the evidence of the truth of their faith⁸ and thankfulness to God,⁹ and as the way which he hath appointed them to salvation.¹⁰

하나님께서 죄인들을 위하여 중보자를 값없이 마련하고 제시하시며,¹ 그분으로 말미암는 생명과 구원을 제시하십니다.² 또한 그분께 속할 조건으로 믿음을 요구하시면서,³ 성령을 약속하고 주셔서⁴ 모든 택하신 자들 안에 그 믿음을 일으키시고,⁵ 구원에 속한 다른 모든 은혜도 일으키시며,⁶ 모든 거룩한 순종을 할 수 있게 하십니다.⁷ 이 순종은 믿음이 참되다는 증거이며,⁸ 하나님께 대한 감사이고,⁹ 그분이 구원에 이르도록 정하신 길입니다. 이렇게 은혜가 나타납니다.¹⁰

창세기 3:15

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

15 내가 너로 여자와 원수가 되게하고 너의 후손도 여자의 후손과 원수가 되게 하리니 여자의 후손은 네 머리를 상하게 할 것이요 너는 그의 발꿈치를 상하게 할 것이니라 하시고

이사야 42:6

6 I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;

6 나 여호와가 의로 너를 불렀은즉 내가 네 손을 잡아 너를 보호하며 너를 세워 백성의 언약과 이방의 빛이 되게 하리니

요한복음 6:27

27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.

27 썩는 양식을 위하여 일하지 말고 영생하도록 있는 양식을 위하여 하라 이 양식은 인자가 너희에게 주리니 인자는 아버지 하나님의 인치신 자니라

요한일서 5:11-12

11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

11 또 증거는 이것이니 하나님이 우리에게 영생을 주신 것과 이 생명이 그의 아들 안에 있는 그것이니라

12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

12 아들이 있는 자에게는 생명이 있고 하나님의 아들이 없는 자에게는 생명이 없느니라

요한복음 3:16

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

16 하나님이 세상을 이처럼 사랑하사 독생자를 주셨으니 이는 저를 믿는 자마다 멸망치 않고 영생을 얻게 하려 하심이니라

요한복음 1:12

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

12 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니

잠언 1:23

23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.

23 나의 책망을 듣고 돌이키라 보라 내가 나의 신을 너희에게 부어주며 나의 말을 너희에게 보이리라

고린도후서 4:13

13 We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

13 기록한바 내가 믿는 고로 말하였다 한 것 같이 우리가 같은 믿음의 마음을 가졌으니 우리도 믿는 고로 또한 말하노라

갈라디아서 5:22-23

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

23 온유와 절제니 이같은 것을 금지할 법이 없느니라

에스겔 36:27

27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

27 또 내 신을 너희 속에 두어 너희로 내 율례를 행하게 하리니 너희가 내 규례를 지켜 행할찌라

야고보서 2:18, 22

18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works.

18 혹이 가로되 너는 믿음이 있고 나는 행함이 있으니 행함이 없는 네 믿음을 내게 보이라 나는 행함으로 내 믿음을 네게 보이리라

22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

22 네가 보거니와 믿음이 그의 행함과 함께 일하고 행함으로 믿음이 온전케 되었느니라

고린도후서 5:14-15

14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

14 그리스도의 사랑이 우리를 강권하시는도다 우리가 생각건대 한 사람이 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽었은즉 모든 사람이 죽은 것이라

15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

15 저가 모든 사람을 대신하여 죽으심은 산 자들로 하여금 다시는 저희 자신을 위하여 살지 않고 오직 저희를 대신하여 죽었다가 다시 사신 자를 위하여 살게 하려 함이니라

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

10 우리는 그의 만드신바라 그리스도 예수 안에서 선한 일을 위하여 지으심을 받은 자니 이 일은 하나님이 전에 예비하사 우리로 그 가운데서 행하게 하려 하심이니라
