문답 52 그리스도께서는 부활에서 어떻게 높아지셨습니까?

How was Christ exalted in his resurrection?

Christ was exalted in his resurrection, in that, not having seen corruption in death, (of which it was not possible for him to be held,)¹ and having the very same body in which he suffered, with the essential properties thereof,² (but without mortality, and other common infirmities belonging to this life,) really united to his soul,³ he rose again from the dead the third day by his own power;⁴ whereby he declared himself to be the Son of God,⁵ to have satisfied divine justice,⁶ to have vanquished death, and him that had the power of it,⁷ and to be Lord of quick and dead:⁸ all which he did as a public person,⁹ the head of his church,¹⁰ for their justification,¹¹ quickening in grace,¹² support against enemies,¹³ and to assure them of their resurrection from the dead at the last day.¹⁴

죽음이 그분을 붙들 수 없었으므로 죽음 가운데 썩음을 당하지 않으시고,¹ 고난받으신 바로 그 몸을 본질적인 속성들과 함께 가지시되,² 죽을 수 있음과 현세의 다른 일반적인 연약함은 없이 그 몸이 영혼과 실제로 결합되어,³ 사흘째 날 자신의 능력으로 다시 살아나셨습니다.⁴ 이로써 자신이 하나님의 아들이시며,⁵ 하나님의 공의를 만족시키셨고,⁶ 죽음과 죽음의 권세를 가진 자를 이기셨으며,⁷ 산 자와 죽은 자의 주이심을 선언하셨습니다.⁸ 이 모든 일을 대표자로서,⁹ 교회의 머리로서 행하셨으며,¹⁰ 성도들의 칭의와¹¹ 은혜 안에서 살아남과¹² 원수에 맞설 힘을 위하여,¹³ 그리고 마지막 날 그들의 부활을 확신시키시기 위하여 행하셨습니다.¹⁴

24 Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.

24 하나님께서 사망의 고통을 풀어 살리셨으니 이는 그가 사망에게 매여 있을 수 없었음이라

27 Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

27 이는 내 영혼을 음부에 버리지 아니하시며 주의 거룩한 자로 썩음을 당치 않게 하실 것임이로다

요한복음 10:18

18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

18 이를 내게서 빼앗는 자가 있는 것이 아니라 내가 스스로 버리노라 나는 버릴 권세도 있고 다시 얻을 권세도 있으니 이 계명은 내 아버지에게서 받았노라 하시니라

로마서 1:4

4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:

4 성결의 영으로는 죽은 가운데서 부활하여 능력으로 하나님의 아들로 인정되셨으니 곧 우리 주 예수 그리스도시니라

로마서 8:34

34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

34 누가 정죄하리요 죽으실 뿐아니라 다시 살아나신 이는 그리스도 예수시니 그는 하나님 우편에 계신 자요 우리를 위하여 간구하시는 자시니라

히브리서 2:14

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

로마서 14:9

9 For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

9 이를 위하여 그리스도께서 죽었다가 다시 살으셨으니 곧 죽은 자와 산 자의 주가 되려 하심이니라

고린도전서 15:21-22

21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

21 사망이 사람으로 말미암았으니 죽은 자의 부활도 사람으로 말미암는도다

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

22 아담 안에서 모든 사람이 죽은것 같이 그리스도 안에서 모든 사람이 삶을 얻으리라

20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

21 Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:

22 And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church,

23 Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

23 교회는 그의 몸이니 만물 안에서 만물을 충만케 하시는 자의 충만이니라

골로새서 1:18

18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

18 그는 몸인 교회의 머리라 그가 근본이요 죽은 자들 가운데서 먼저 나신 자니 이는 친히 만물의 으뜸이 되려 하심이요

25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.

1 And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins:

1 너희의 허물과 죄로 죽었던 너희를 살리셨도다

5 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)

6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

골로새서 2:12

12 Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.

12 너희가 세례로 그리스도와 함께 장사한바 되고 또 죽은 자들 가운데서 그를 일으키신 하나님의 역사를 믿음으로 말미암아 그 안에서 함께 일으키심을 받았느니라

고린도전서 15:25-27

25 For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

25 저가 모든 원수를 그 발아래 둘 때까지 불가불 왕노릇 하시리니

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

26 맨 나중에 멸망 받을 원수는 사망이니라

27 For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

27 만물을 저의 발아래 두셨다 하셨으니 만물을 아래 둔다 말씀하실 때에 만물을 저의 아래 두신 이가 그 중에 들지 아니한 것이 분명하도다
