문답 74 양자 됨은 무엇입니까?

What is adoption?

Adoption is an act of the free grace of God,¹ in and for his only Son Jesus Christ,² whereby all those that are justified are received into the number of his children,³ have his name put upon them,⁴ the Spirit of his Son given to them,⁵ are under his fatherly care and dispensations,⁶ admitted to all the liberties and privileges of the sons of God, made heirs of all the promises, and fellow-heirs with Christ in glory.⁷

하나님의 값없는 은혜의 행위로서,¹ 독생자 예수 그리스도 안에서 그분 때문에 이루어집니다.² 의롭다 하심을 받은 모든 사람은 하나님의 자녀의 수에 들어가고,³ 그분의 이름으로 불리며,⁴ 아들의 영을 받고,⁵ 아버지의 돌보심과 섭리 아래 놓이며,⁶ 하나님의 자녀의 모든 자유와 특권을 누리고 모든 약속의 상속자가 되어 그리스도와 함께 영광을 상속받습니다.⁷

요한일서 3:1

1 Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.

1 보라 아버지께서 어떠한 사랑을 우리에게 주사 하나님의 자녀라 일컬음을 얻게 하셨는고, 우리가 그러하도다 그러므로 세상이 우리를 알지 못함은 그를 알지 못함이니라

에베소서 1:5

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

5 그 기쁘신 뜻대로 우리를 예정하사 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 자기의 아들들이 되게 하셨으니

갈라디아서 4:4-5

4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,

5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.

5 율법 아래 있는 자들을 속량하시고 우리로 아들의 명분을 얻게 하려 하심이라

요한복음 1:12

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

12 영접하는 자 곧 그 이름을 믿는 자들에게는 하나님의 자녀가 되는 권세를 주셨으니

고린도후서 6:18

18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

18 너희에게 아버지가 되고 너희는 내게 자녀가 되리라 전능하신 주의 말씀이니라 하셨느니라

요한계시록 3:12

12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.

갈라디아서 4:6

6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

6 너희가 아들인고로 하나님이 그 아들의 영을 우리 마음 가운데 보내사 아바 아버지라 부르게 하셨느니라

시편 103:13

13 Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

13 아비가 자식을 불쌍히 여김 같이 여호와께서 자기를 경외하는 자를 불쌍히 여기시나니

잠언 14:26

26 In the fear of the LORD is strong confidence: and his children shall have a place of refuge.

26 여호와를 경외하는 자에게는 견고한 의뢰가 있나니 그 자녀들에게 피난처가 있으리라

마태복음 6:32

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

32 이는 다 이방인들이 구하는 것이라 너희 천부께서 이 모든 것이 너희에게 있어야 할 줄을 아시느니라

히브리서 6:12

12 That ye be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

12 게으르지 아니하고 믿음과 오래 참음으로 말미암아 약속들을 기업으로 받는 자들을 본받는 자 되게 하려는 것이니라

로마서 8:17

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

17 자녀이면 또한 후사 곧 하나님의 후사요 그리스도와 함께한 후사니 우리가 그와 함께 영광을 받기 위하여 고난도 함께 받아야 될 것이니라
