문답 87 우리는 부활에 관하여 무엇을 믿어야 합니까?

What are we to believe concerning the resurrection?

We are to believe that at the last day there shall be a general resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust:¹ when they that are then found alive shall in a moment be changed; and the self-same bodies of the dead which were laid in the grave, being then again united to their souls for ever, shall be raised up by the power of Christ.² The bodies of the just, by the Spirit of Christ, and by virtue of his resurrection as their head, shall be raised in power, spiritual, incorruptible, and made like to his glorious body;³ and the bodies of the wicked shall be raised up in dishonour by him, as an offended judge.⁴

우리는 마지막 날에 의인과 악인을 포함하여 죽은 모든 사람이 부활할 것을 믿어야 합니다.¹ 그때 살아 있는 사람들은 순식간에 변화되고, 무덤에 놓였던 죽은 사람들의 바로 그 몸이 자기 영혼과 영원히 다시 결합되어 그리스도의 능력으로 일으킴을 받을 것입니다.² 의인들의 몸은 그리스도의 영으로 말미암아, 또 그들의 머리이신 그리스도의 부활의 효력으로 능력 가운데 신령하고 썩지 않는 몸으로 일으킴을 받아 그분의 영광스러운 몸과 같이 될 것입니다.³ 악인들의 몸은 자신들이 거스른 심판자이신 그분에 의하여 수치 가운데 일으킴을 받을 것입니다.⁴

고린도전서 15:51-53

51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

51 보라 내가 너희에게 비밀을 말하노니 우리가 다 잠잘 것이 아니요 마지막 나팔에 순식간에 홀연히 다 변화하리니

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

52 나팔 소리가 나매 죽은 자들이 썩지 아니할 것으로 다시 살고 우리도 변화하리라

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

데살로니가전서 4:15-17

15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.

15 우리가 주의 말씀으로 너희에게 이것을 말하노니 주 강림하실 때까지 우리 살아 남아 있는 자도 자는 자보다 결단코 앞서지 못하리라

16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

16 주께서 호령과 천사장의 소리와 하나님의 나팔로 친히 하늘로 좇아 강림하시리니 그리스도 안에서 죽은 자들이 먼저 일어나고

17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

17 그 후에 우리 살아 남은 자도 저희와 함께 구름 속으로 끌어 올려 공중에서 주를 영접하게 하시리니 그리하여 우리가 항상 주와 함께 있으리라

요한복음 5:28-29

28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,

28 이를 기이히 여기지 말라 무덤 속에 있는 자가 다 그의 음성을 들을 때가 오나니

29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

29 선한 일을 행한 자는 생명의 부활로, 악한 일을 행한 자는 심판의 부활로 나오리라

고린도전서 15:21-23, 42-44

21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

21 사망이 사람으로 말미암았으니 죽은 자의 부활도 사람으로 말미암는도다

22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

22 아담 안에서 모든 사람이 죽은것 같이 그리스도 안에서 모든 사람이 삶을 얻으리라

23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.

23 그러나 각각 자기 차례대로 되리니 먼저는 첫 열매인 그리스도요 다음에는 그리스도 강림하실 때에 그에게 붙은 자요

42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

42 죽은 자의 부활도 이와 같으니 썩을 것으로 심고 썩지 아니할 것으로 다시 살며

43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

43 욕된 것으로 심고 영광스러운 것으로 다시 살며 약한 것으로 심고 강한 것으로 다시 살며

44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

44 육의 몸으로 심고 신령한 몸으로 다시 사나니 육의 몸이 있은즉 또 신령한 몸이 있느니라

빌립보서 3:21

21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

21 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라

요한복음 5:27-29

27 And hath given him authority to execute judgment also, because he is the Son of man.

27 또 인자됨을 인하여 심판하는 권세를 주셨느니라
