At the day of judgment, the righteous, being caught up to Christ in the clouds,1 shall be set on his right hand, and there openly acknowledged and acquitted,2 shall join with him in the judging of reprobate angels and men,3 and shall be received into heaven,4 where they shall be fully and for ever freed from all sin and misery;5 filled with inconceivable joys,6 made perfectly holy and happy both in body and soul, in the company of innumerable saints and holy angels,7 but especially in the immediate vision and fruition of God the Father, of our Lord Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, to all eternity.8 And this is the perfect and full communion, which the members of the invisible church shall enjoy with Christ in glory, at the resurrection and day of judgment.
심판의 날에 의인들은 구름 속으로 끌어 올려져 그리스도께 나아가고,1 그분의 오른편에 세워져 공개적으로 인정받고 무죄를 선고받으며,2 그분과 함께 버림받은 천사들과 사람들을 심판하고,3 하늘에 받아들여질 것입니다.4 거기서 모든 죄와 비참으로부터 완전히 영원히 해방되고,5 헤아릴 수 없는 기쁨으로 충만해지며,6 셀 수 없는 성도들과 거룩한 천사들의 무리 가운데 몸과 영혼이 완전히 거룩하고 행복하게 될 것입니다.7 특히 성부 하나님과 우리 주 예수 그리스도와 성령을 직접 뵙고 누리는 가운데 영원히 그러할 것입니다.8 이것이 보이지 않는 교회의 지체들이 부활과 심판의 날에 영광 가운데 그리스도와 함께 누릴 완전하고 충만한 교제입니다.
