문답 96 도덕법은 거듭나지 않은 사람들에게 어떤 특별한 유익이 있습니까?

What particular use is there of the moral law to unregenerate men?

The moral law is of use to unregenerate men, to awaken their consciences to flee from wrath to come,¹ and to drive them to Christ;² or, upon their continuance in the estate and way of sin, to leave them inexcusable,³ and under the curse thereof.⁴

도덕법은 거듭나지 않은 사람들의 양심을 깨워 장차 올 진노를 피하게 하며,¹ 그리스도께로 몰아갑니다.² 또는 그들이 죄의 상태와 길에 계속 머무르면 그들을 변명할 수 없는 상태에 두고,³ 그 법의 저주 아래 있게 합니다.⁴

9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

갈라디아서 3:10

10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

10 무릇 율법 행위에 속한 자들은 저주 아래 있나니 기록된바 누구든지 율법 책에 기록된대로 온갖 일을 항상 행하지 아니하는 자는 저주 아래 있는 자라 하였음이라
