In the fourth petition (which is, Give us this day our daily bread)1 , we pray, That of God’s free gift we may receive a competent portion of the good things of this life, and enjoy his blessing with them.2
넷째 간구인 “오늘날 우리에게 일용할 양식을 주옵시고”에서1 하나님께서 값없이 주시는 선물로 현세의 좋은 것들을 알맞게 받으며, 그와 함께 그분의 복을 누리게 해 주시기를 기도합니다.2
8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:
8 곧 허탄과 거짓말을 내게서 멀리 하옵시며 나로 가난하게도 마옵시고 부하게도 마옵시고 오직 필요한 양식으로 내게 먹이시옵소서
9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.
9 혹 내가 배불러서 하나님을 모른다 여호와가 누구냐 할까 하오며 혹 내가 가난하여 도적질하고 내 하나님의 이름을 욕되게 할까 두려워함이니이다
창세기 28:20
20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,

디모데전서 4:4-5
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
4 하나님의 지으신 모든 것이 선하매 감사함으로 받으면 버릴 것이 없나니
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.
