The decrees of God are, his eternal purpose, according to the counsel of his will, whereby, for his own glory, he hath foreordained whatsoever comes to pass.1
하나님의 작정은 자신의 뜻의 계획에 따른 영원한 목적입니다. 하나님께서는 이 목적에 따라 자신의 영광을 위하여 일어나는 모든 일을 미리 정하셨습니다.1
4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
4 곧 창세 전에 그리스도 안에서 우리를 택하사 우리로 사랑 안에서 그 앞에 거룩하고 흠이 없게 하시려고
11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:
11 모든 일을 그 마음의 원대로 역사하시는 자의 뜻을 따라 우리가 예정을 입어 그 안에서 기업이 되었으니
로마서 9:22-23
22 What if God, willing to show his wrath, and to make his power known, endured with much longsuffering the vessels of wrath fitted to destruction:
22 만일 하나님이 그 진노를 보이시고 그 능력을 알게 하고자 하사 멸하기로 준비된 진노의 그릇을 오래 참으심으로 관용하시고
23 And that he might make known the riches of his glory on the vessels of mercy, which he had afore prepared unto glory,
23 또한 영광 받기로 예비하신바 긍휼의 그릇에 대하여 그 영광의 부요함을 알게 하고자 하셨을찌라도 무슨 말 하리요
