6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord'sanointedis before him.

7 But the Lord said to Samuel, Do not take note of his face or how tall he is, because I will not have him: for the Lord's view is not man's; man takes note of the outer form, but the Lord sees the heart.
7 여호와께서 사무엘에게 이르시되 그 용모와 신장을 보지 말라 내가 이미 그를 버렸노라 나의 보는 것은 사람과 같지 아니하니 사람은 외모를 보거니와 나 여호와는 중심을 보느니라
8 Then JessecalledAbinadab, and made him passbeforeSamuel. And he said, Neither hath the LORDchosen this.
8 Then Jesse sent for Abinadab and made him come before Samuel. And he said, The Lord has not taken this one.
