4 That the LORDcalledSamuel: and he answered, Here am I.
4 The voice of the Lord said Samuel's name; and he said, Here am I.

5 And running to Eli he said, Here am I, for you said my name. And Eli said, I did not say your name; go to your rest again. So he went back to his bed.

6 And again the Lord said, Samuel. And Samuel got up and went to Eli and said, Here am I; for you certainly said my name. But he said in answer, I said nothing, my son; go to your rest again.
6 여호와께서 다시 사무엘을 부르시는지라 사무엘이 일어나서 엘리에게로 가서 가로되 당신이 나를 부르셨기로 내가 여기 있나이다 대답하되 내 아들아 내가 부르지 아니하였으니 다시 누우라 하니라

7 Now Samuel did not yetknow the LORD, neither was the word of the LORD yet revealed unto him.
7 Now at that time Samuel had no knowledge of the Lord, and the revelation of the word of the Lord had not come to him.
7 사무엘이 아직 여호와를 알지 못하고 여호와의 말씀도 아직 그에게 나타나지 아니한 때라

8 And the LORDcalledSamuelagain the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eliperceived that the LORD had called the child.
8 And for the third time the Lord said Samuel's name. And he got up and went to Eli and said, Here am I; for you certainly said my name. Then it was clear to Eli that the voice which had said the child's name was the Lord's.
8 여호와께서 세번째 사무엘을 부르시는지라 그가 일어나서 엘리에게로 가서 가로되 당신이 나를 부르셨기로 내가 여기 있나이다 엘리가 여호와께서 이 아이를 부르신 줄을 깨닫고

Then it was clear to Eli that the voice which had said the child's name was the Lord's. 9 So Eli said to Samuel, Go back: and if the voice comes again, let your answer be, Say on, Lord; for the ears of your servant are open. So Samuel went back to his bed.
9 이에 사무엘에게 이르되 가서 누웠다가 그가 너를 부르시거든 네가 말하기를 여호와여 말씀하옵소서 주의 종이 듣겠나이다 하라 이에 사무엘이 가서 자기 처소에 누우니라
