1 And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziahsaw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seedroyal.

2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of kingJoram, sister of Ahaziah, tookJoash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king'ssonswhich wereslain; and they hid him, even him and his nurse, in the bedchamberㆍfromAthaliah, so that he was not slain.
2 But Jehosheba, the daughter of King Joram, sister of Ahaziah, secretly took Joash, the son of Ahaziah, with the woman who took care of him, away from among the king's sons who were put to death, and put him in the bedroom; and they kept him safe from Athaliah, so that he was not put to death.
2 요람왕의 딸 아하시야의 누이 여호세바가 아하시야의 아들 요아스를 왕자들의 죽임을 당하는 중에서 도적하여 내고 저와 그 유모를 침실에 숨겨 아달랴를 피하여 죽임을 당치 않게 한지라
