And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.17 And for forty days the waters were over all the earth; and the waters were increased so that the ark was lifted up high over the earth.17 홍수가 땅에 사십일을 있었는지라 물이 많아져 방주가 땅에서 떠 올랐고
And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.18 And the waters overcame everything and were increased greatly on the earth, and the ark was resting on the face of the waters.18 물이 더 많아져 땅에 창일하매 방주가 물위에 떠 다녔으며
And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that were under the whole heaven, were covered.19 And the waters overcame everything on the earth; and all the mountains under heaven were covered.19 물이 땅에 더욱 창일하매 천하에 높은 산이 다 덮였더니
Fifteen ㆍ cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.20 The waters went fifteen cubits higher, till all the mountains were covered.20 물이 불어서 십 오 규빗이 오르매 산들이 덮인지라
And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:21 And destruction came on every living thing moving on the earth, birds and cattle and beasts and everything which went on the earth, and every man.21 땅위에 움직이는 생물이 다 죽었으니 곧 새와 육축과 들짐승과 땅에 기는 모든 것과 모든 사람이라
All in whose nostrils was the breath of life, of all that was in the dry land, died.22 Everything on the dry land, in which was the breath of life, came to its end.22 육지에 있어 코로 생물의 기식을 호흡하는 것은 다 죽었더라
And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained alive, and they that were with him in the ark.23 Every living thing on the face of all the earth, man and cattle and things moving on the face of the earth, and birds of the air, came to destruction: only Noah and those who were with him in the ark, were kept from death.23 지면의 모든 생물을 쓸어버리시니 곧 사람과 짐승과 기는 것과 공중의 새까지라 이들은 땅에서 쓸어버림을 당하였으되 홀로 노아와 그와 함께 방주에 있던 자만 남았더라
And the waters prevailed upon the earth an hundred and fifty days.24 And the waters were over the earth a hundred and fifty days.24 물이 일백 오십일을 땅에 창일하였더라
