부유한 불신자들에 대해 선고된 하나님의 심판들. (1-6) 환난 중의 인내와 온유에 대한 권면. (7-11) 경솔한 맹세에 대한 경고들, 고난과 형통한 상황 모두에서 기도가 권장됨, 그리스도인들은 서로에게 자기 잘못을 고백해야 함. (12-18) 죄인의 회심의 수단이 되는 것의 행복. (19,20)
7 Be patienttherefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandmanwaiteth for the preciousfruit of the earth, and hath long patienceforit, untilhereceive the earlyandlatterrain.
7 Go on waiting calmly, my brothers, till the coming of the Lord, like the farmer waiting for the good fruit of the earth till the early and late rains have come.
7 그러므로 형제들아 주의 강림하시기까지 길이 참으라 보라 농부가 땅에서 나는 귀한 열매를 바라고 길이 참아 이른 비와 늦은 비를 기다리나니
