1Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto tenvirgins, whichtooktheirlamps, and went forth to meetthebridegroom.
1 Then the kingdom of heaven will be like ten virgins, the friends of the bride, who took their lights, and went out with the purpose of meeting the husband.
3They that werefoolishtooktheirㆍlamps, and tooknooilwiththem:
3 For the foolish, when they took their lights, took no oil with them.

9But the wiseanswered, saying, Not so;lest there benotenough for usandyou: but go yerather to them that sell, andbuy for yourselves.
9 But the wise made answer, saying, There may not be enough for us and you; it would be better for you to go to the traders and get oil for yourselves.
9 슬기 있는 자들이 대답하여 가로되 우리와 너희의 쓰기에 다 부족할까 하노니 차라리 파는 자들에게 가서 너희 쓸 것을 사라 하니

10And while theywent to buy, the bridegroomcame; and they that were ready went inwithhimto the marriage: and the door was shut.

10 저희가 사러 간 동안에 신랑이 오므로 예비하였던 자들은 함께 혼인 잔치에 들어가고 문은 닫힌지라
11Afterwardㆍcamealso the othervirgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.
