오직 그리스도를 믿음으로 말미암은 칭의라는 위대한 교리를 벗어난 것에 대해 갈라디아인들이 책망받다. (1-5) 이 교리가 아브라함의 예로 확립되다. (6-9) 율법의 취지와 그 저주의 엄격함으로부터. (10-14) 율법이 폐할 수 없었던 약속들의 언약으로부터. (15-18) 율법은 그들을 그리스도께로 인도하는 초등교사였음. (19-25) 복음 시대에는 참된 믿는 자들이 모두 그리스도 안에서 하나임. (26-29)
21Is the lawthenagainst the promises of God? God forbidㆍ: forif there had been a lawgivenwhichcould have given life, verilyrighteousnessshould have beenby the law.
21 Is the law then against the words of God? in no way; because if there had been a law which was able to give life, truly righteousness would have been by the law.
21 그러면 율법이 하나님의 약속들을 거스리느냐 결코 그럴 수 없느니라 만일 능히 살게하는 율법을 주셨더면 의가 반드시 율법으로 말미암았으리라
